Eh, animals clip through decorations in the water too, so clipping through decorations on land is not that different to me.

could add the decorations/plants option in some spots. Personally not a fan of that because of the animals clipping through, but perhaps just make it user's choice.

Will look at it when/if get to modifying other things in this mod.

Yeah, I was asking for what Fortuna said. Without any decorations on the land area, the beach tanks (especially the large ones) end up looking empty and boring imo. So it'd be really nice to have these large beach tanks with the option to place decorations on the beach part.

Re: editable land - there's a mod that allows you to place decorations on the land areas of the 3 vanilla beach tanks. It's one of RickReptile's mods. I believe that's probably what was being asked, and I'd be interested in that too, since I dislike that you can't place decorations on the vanilla beach tanks' land. They look so empty.

The brown-blobness could be broken up by rocks and/or logs in the beach land model. I have notes to look into that for rocks and may add some, though it introduces other complexities (basically keeping the animals out - so we lose land space). There are a few graphical errors in a few of the models that I may fix - could look at that then.

There actually are undulations in the beach land, but we're limited (AFAIK anyway) because of the way the animals climb and transition to land and then walk. If it isn't flat enough they don't appear to be touching the land. In a few spots the dwarf crocodile's foot will go below the land surface when pivoting onto the beach. Consider it "sinking into the beach" :steamhappy:

" a version with editable land areas? I like the land to not just be a big brown blob"

If editable means re-sizable, that might be possible but would be fairly complex (and only look OK on land areas that touch tank glass on both ends). Even the 3 vanilla FF Beach Tanks don't resize.
If editable means change actual topology, No.

One little question: Will you also be doing a version with editable land areas? I like the land to not just be a big brown blob.
