Description
Scans radio frequencies for transmitted signals (audio/composite and video)
  • scans spectrum 0-1000 in 1.5 seconds
  • range (depends on transmitting sender type, but at least 20km
  • you can define frequency range to scan
  • scans both types: video and radio (composite + audio)

Variants
This vehicle already includes two different antenna setups:
  • Smaller variant: 2x5 Antennas (takes less space but only has 50% scan speed compared to the big variant)
  • Bigger variant: 2x11 Antennas (takes more space but has 200% scan speed compared to the smaller variant)
IMPORTANT: always use all the antennas necessary, otherwise some frequencies will be missing (if you copy paste the variant from the vehicle you cannot do any mistake!)


Monitor Modes
The scan results can be shown in different ways. Supported Monitors: 3x3, 3x5, 5x9
  • Live: shows the complete scan range, the results painted as vertical bars (height shows the signal strength). The green line shows the current frequency of the scanning antennas
  • Freq: shows a list of found frequencies
  • Time: shows a list of found frequencies over time. Makes it very easy to track senders that dynamically change their frequency (e.g. frequency hopping)

@Tessa this script does not do heavy calculations so it does not really create any lag.

Is there any way for me to scan a larger range of frequencies without causing massive lag?
