Dwarf big and diverse RoR pack

Description
Short description

Adds 23 RoR units to dwarf factions (custom battle and mortal empire)
Infantry, ranged, artillery, and even a few original unit types fill the gaps in dwarf RoR, and a bit more...

Details
These are fun units and should not be considered truly lore friendly, however, I did my possible to make them balanced and no more crazy than what GW or CA could do.
It started out with a few units for my own pleasure, and ended in a full roster of RoR for the dwarves, each base unit having their own RoR. I pushed the limits a little further with unconventional units.
All units unlock in campaign at different lord levels, and are available for the 3 main dwarf factions in custom battle.
I tried to balance their stats, level requirements and prices, but it certainly needs more tweaking, your feedback is welcome!
Have fun!

Updates
7/21/2020 : Changed some names after suggestions of kittikhungers.
7/24/2020 : Changed the blunderbuss model to the shotgun by kophis (thanks!).

ROR units

Infantry
  • Sons of Grugni - Dwarf miners (undermine)
This RoR is a different take on the miners' deployment. A very small team is on the surface, and can call anywhere on the map the main miner unit from below.

  • Gunbad Gatebreakers - Dwarf miners (sappers)
These miners can attack and destroy walls. Very handy to change a little the siege tactics especially at low tier when you don't have many siege weapons.

  • The ogre rippers - Dwarf warriors (anti-large)
Warriors with Anti Large weapons. Slayers, take a break for once!

  • Grimnir's shield - Dwarf longbeards (Shieldwall)
Sturdy longbeard holding the line for good, a good pillar to hold your whole army up!

  • Wrath of the undying - Dwarf giant slayers (berserk)
Berserk and slayers marry well! Keep them long enough in the fight and they will reward you with many kills and less casualties.
7/8/2020 : They now have "The undying" passive ability. Under 20% HP the slayers won't die for 30 seconds.

  • Gazul's roar - Hammerers (earthquake)
Don't use their ability close to your troops if you don't want them hurt. Otherwise, send Gazul's roar in the middle of enemy troops and trigger the ability, to hinder the whole lot of them.

  • Rune scribblers
The rune scribblers will increase the miscast chance for enemy casters around them. They are potent melee fighters too!

  • Yorek Torikson and Gwenhir - White lions
An unconventionnal hybrid unit. Torek is slow, holding back the lions and thus, not giving too much of an advantage to dawi, who don't have cavalry otherwise. Still a fun unit with a little bit of background (of my invention).

  • Ulvit the white wolf - Daemon slayer
Another unconventionnal unit. This is a single character but he packs some surprises. He can call some white wolves for help, and his curse may manifest itself and reveal its true nature...
Ranged
  • Thorns of Valaya - Dwarf quarrelers (spikes)
They can build lines of spikes. Those can stop a charge for a few seconds while you choose to shoot... or flee.

  • Grimnir's bolt - Dwarf quarrelers (frenetic)
Frenetic make them quite potent in melee, a good melee/ranged hybrid.

  • Old branches - Dwarf rangers (snipers)
You can use them as scouts and snipers. Staying hidden while shooting helps a lot.

  • High Peak Firebores - Dwarf thunderers (Blunderbuss)
Deadly at close range with that huge amount of pellets in the air! (Shotgun by kophis)

  • Sootbeard Boomsticks - Dwarf thunderers (Longbeards)
Long beards with arquebusses. Grumble behind the line and shoot the cowards!

  • Morgrim's blast - Dwarf engineers (explosive bullets)
Flaming explosive shots are always handy. They can plant line spikes to stop enemy's charge.

  • Hail of Morgrim - Irondrakes (frag bombs)
The projectile is quite special. It shoots at high angle, ideal for wall sweeping, or to pass over a first line. It should explode and fragment near the target, spraying hot metal under. But sometimes, it triggers late, on the feet of the opponents, dealing direct explosive damage.

  • Hammered trolls - Irondrakes (Trolls)
Unconventionnal hybrid unit, again. The trolls will deal with those fool enough to come in melee range, while the irondrakes shoot their torpedoes at them.

  • Farewell to Valaya - Adventurers
Last but not least of the unconventionnal hybrid units. See them as the group of heroes/adventurers right from your RPG games. They don't have crazy abilities, but they have good stats thanks to the synergies they built, complementary as they are to each other.
Artillery
  • Beard untangler - Dwarf bolt thrower (splitting bolt)
The bolt-thrower usually lacks punch and rate of fire. This RoR tries to correct that with a splitting projectile efficient against infantry and cavalry.

  • Gazul's breath - Grudge thrower (flammable)
The flammable projectile explodes slowly, damaging people going through or staying close.

  • Barak Varr's Ironsides - Cannon (explosive balls)
Cannonballs usually pierce the lines. These explode more or less on contact, damaging around, rather than in its path.

  • Rains of Karak Mere - Organ gun (canister shot)
Even deadlier at close range than usual organ guns. Not that much at long range, but at least, they will hit something!

  • Gazul's warmth - Experimental flame cannon
The shot is not as concentrated as the flame cannon's. It spreads on a large surface, for lesser damage. Pyromaniacs should love it!

Thanks
I want to express my gratitude to all moders for all their work I had much pleasure to play with, to get inspiration from, and to learn from, by looking into the changes they have done.
The online guides (like of thesniperdevil) were of tremendous help, thank you to all participants to their elaboration and for taking the time to share. This is really important.
And of course, thank you CA for devoting to Warhammer fantasy in such length, it is a dream come true.

I tried editing this mod to make the units recruitable by the dwarf subfactions (Karak Norn, Spine of Sotek, etc) in the 'units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions_tables' but it still didn't work. Any advice? I'm also using Parte's Legendary Lords.

just a FYI: some (actually quite a few) of the artillery can't target buildings such as towers. it's easy to fix with a modding tool, but keep this in mind.
