You can remove the blood decals effects on the model and hunter pounce will not crash.
For example this and the other Nyx mod have no blood decals to avoid crash.

Yes, I'm aware of the hunter pounce crash, but by "trouble" I believed they meant in the sense of being able to rig properly. The whole model with all of its attachments is just over 39000 vertices and it wouldn't cause much of an issue despite being several times more complex than the vanilla survivor models. I know I never had an issue when using my own 80-percented version of this with tons of other hi-res mods.

The tubes on the mask are attached on both the head and at the shoulder blades and have several gentle curves on them which would make it difficult to get the weight paint right so they would deform properly during animations. Heck, the ones on the arm don't even have good weights in the game they came from so apparently even professionals have a hard time with similar situations.

@Shakes Any models with a high amount of content that results in a ton of indices/vertices can cause the game to crash when being pounced by hunters or vomited on by boomers. Sometimes, sacrifices need to be made in order to prevent them from crashing in those instances.

Aha I see, I’ll have to fix that up.

A workaround might be to try to mimic the original rigging from those FBX files I posted back on Knockout. Not sure if you want to sort through all that, though.
also @Despair, the two pieces sitting in front of her collarbone and above her chest are using the misc material instead of the torso material.

I asked Despair adding the mask and he said that it might cause problems because of those tubes. I never thought to ask to add it for testing.

Ah yeah it was requested maskless, as for being critical don’t worry about it lol.
