Description
Residential, Commercial, Office, Industrial, Service and Unique buildings and props.

For the residential barracks to spawn: make 2x4 plots touching no other residential zoning and delete whatever spawns until the barracks spawn-in, then make them historical.

I would not worry too much about the “annoyance” of the LSM message of “missing assets”.

As long as the style works then you don’t need to worry at all about that message — it may be props or things that were not included by me for one reason or another, or it could be your machine hitting a memory or pagefile limit and simply not downloading assets you’ve subscribed to.

The District Style tab isn’t obsolete but you won’t be able to Update something unless you published it to the Workshop.

This style includes very small buildings which the game does not want to spawn, so it will not work if you paint an area and assign this District Style to that area; any existing barracks will disappear, even though they have been assigned to this Style. I work around this by only using this for commercial areas and let the residential areas grow organically, bulldozing homes that don’t fit until the barracks spawn, then make them historical.

Hello and thank you for this collection. I am subscribed to all the required assets and using LSM have subscribed to any missing assets. There is irksome issue I have with the district style saying there are 'missing assets' when I am clearly subscribed them. Ive tried to create a new district style with the 'missing' assets however they still show as 'missing' in the new style.
In addition, per the previous comments, I do not have an 'update button' within the styles tab. Is there a mod or a simple way to organize styles and their contained assets. Does themes do this? Using theme manager I combined the 'missing' assets with the district style assets and some additional assets. Is the styles tab obsolete or am I just using these subscriptions wrong?

Try zoning different sizes, not just 4x4. Try 1x2, 2x3, etc.

I believe there are commercial assets but I don’t recall if there are office assets in this Collection.

Why are most buildings on loading? why arn't Commercial and Offices appearing?

it seems confusing but it actually works fairly easily once you understand how to do it

so i could just erase all of them and start over with a new one -- my only concern then is what if i want to add more assets to the district style at a later date. I would have to wipe it and start over then, too, and screw over any subscribers. There has to be an easier way to do this....

so i followed the directions, and but did not complete the steps beyond waiting for an update button on the original district style.
Closed game, relaunched, and now there are three of that district style, two new ones which contain all the assets. But i did not update/share or save in any way, shape, or form.
This system is very clunky and not intuitive....

Did you see the other message before i erased it?

i am trying to create a full district style for each town on my new map project -- already have separate collections for each as well.
