Night Lights

Description


Decorate your base with colorful sculptures that light up at night!

Night lights have high beauty and come in 3 sizes: small, medium, large. They function as normal sculptures by day.

Requires "colored lights" research to build.

Night lights use sculpture graphics! If you have extra sculpture graphics from mods like More Sculpture, night lights will appear in those shapes.

+1 for a patch for Selectable Sculpture Graphic, can't change graphics on your sculptures sadly.

Cool. (I use a mod that prevents infestation events on tiles with adequate light, so these would really keep the monsters away - though I guess to work all the time I'd also need a Windows mod :)

They provide enough light for a small room (about 4 tiles around the night light)

Just checking before I add it (with over 100 mods, I have to be picky :)

Do these actually give light in the room (mechanically), or is it just a player-level cosmetic thing and extra beauty points?

Updated for 1.4 - this change is NOT backwards compatible! (don't update an existing game from 1.3 to 1.4 )
- night lights have selectable colors instead of having a different def for each color
- night lights have been moved from "Misc" to "Furniture"

Very nice mod. I edited the copy I use so the objects aren't considered quite so OP beautiful, but I love this a lot!
