You can turn the music off/on at the music player by pressing E and interacting. Adjust the music/song volume by adjusting the Dialogue/CharacterVoice volume in the KF 2 options, Audio options, Dialog Volume.

You spawn with both 'Plasma pistol' and 9mm pistol. Pick up a Health Pack if you want to heal. Respawns times are based on https://halo.bungie.org/misc/respawntimes.html.

Best played with Horzine Armour, biker helmet or as Donovan 'Bulldog' Neal.
Do check out Gearshift’s Halo weapon mods as it goes well with this map.

I was inspired by the Quixel youtube video and decided to do it on UE3 instead of UE4. Downloaded the 3D files from the Halo 1 PC. Import it to Blender, subdivide map meshes, fixed the meshes and UV as much as I can.

This map is extremely large and bumpy that it uses the max allowable path nodes a Killing Floor 2 map can have because I tried to keep the scaling true to realism. I even had to utilize some editor tricks to maximize path coverage. I have laid over 1000+ (close to max) KFPATHNODES actors on the map with my own hands. Trust me, I’ve nearly died doing this, lol. If there are any issues with the pathing, do tell me. It takes almost forever to build/calculate the path of the entire map even with an i7 6770k with 16 GB ram. For every forced path, I had to manually link EVERY F*CKING 2 KFPATHNODES WITH EACH OTHER. Most likely there will be a bug in zed pathing.

I’ve tried to keep this as faithful to the original, only adding a bit of my own creative vision to fill up some of the gaps. The map contains more than 3 times more polygons compared to the original. I've rotated the Halo ring and increase the contrast because I thought it’ll look scenic compared to the original. With the release of Halo 1 on PC, I suppose someone could port that version over to KF2. I don’t think I would make another Halo mod or map again though.

I was planning to work on a Warthog vehicle mod. I don’t even know if it’s possible to implement it in Killing Floor 2.

I could have easily done everything in Unreal Engine 4 in a day/week/month? I hope the next Killing Floor game will be in Unreal Engine 4 or better. Do add me if you want to play the Halo Master Chief Collection together or something.

Great map, but it takes forever for the zeds to get to you, I would suggest moving the spawns closer to the center of the map

Updated map. Made the sky brighter and fixed the Rocket Launcher location. Replaced Steam workshop file image. I have yet to fix the Red/Blue Base 3D model UV/textures and implement Pelican/Dropship animations. I'm not sure how bright it is since I've edited the map without a GPU.

I'm planning to fix most things in my next update and change the map display picture. The link for the current map display image is in the discussion, references.The sky sphere is dark because I wanted to give a realistic alien feel of the Halo Ring with a thin atmosphere. I may be wrong but I didn't recall any nearby star/sun near the Halo ring. Let me check MCC Halo 1 and I'll make a decision.

Skybox is a bit dark, isn't it? Otherwise I definitely want to do that Halo pack on this server.
