Description
This is a boat built for MrNJersey's River Boat Challenge. Please sail at 0.35 throttle for a maximum speed of 27 knots (regular speed 60) and a much more comfortable experience.

The MV Cumbrian was constructed as the S.S Cumbrian in 1901 at Bo'Ness shipyard for the Lake Windermere Transportation Co. She was initially used to ferry wealthy passengers from the Lakeside town of Bo'Ness out to some of the many islands located throughout the lake. She was converted as a trial to diesel-electric propulsion in 1938, with diesel engines in the same order as the company's MV Swan. In 1958, she carried HM Queen Elizabeth II, on her trip to Windermere. By the 1990s, however, the MV Cumbrian was falling into a state of disrepair, and was sold for scrap on 16th July 1992. Due to a heavy backlog at the breakers yard, however, preservationists were able to salvage the remains of the vessel, and the Sawyer Island river Cruises Co. purchased the vessel in 2001, and refurbished her to her 1938 condition. She sails regularly between East Fishing Village and Holt Town, and has become a very popular vessel. Built by GWVillager

Yes I agree, smaller vessels are not only better for lag but are often a lot more fun in multiplayer, as everyone can skipper their own boat. I'm surprised at how well this has held up, this was my first ever boat.
