Sorry I should have posted this earlier. I have not played Stelaris in well over a year (I was thinking I would come back at x point or another) and I likely will not be anytime soon. For that reason and that I am very busy these days I am officially depreciating all my Stelaris MODs.

What this means:

>There will be no further updates or support for this MOD
>Anyone who wishes to can update, alter, include or otherwise benefit from this MOD as they see fit
>I will leave the MOD available for at least 1 year from 09/26/21
>I will leave the comment section open at least till 12/31/21

Simple Trait MOD that does the following:

>Biologicals trait points set to 10
>Biologicals trait picks set to 20
>Machine trait points set to 8
>Machine trait picks set to 15
>Robot trait points set to 5
>Robot trait picks set to 10

YEAASSSSS dragoonblade you are a fucking life saver. i made my first machine empire and couldn't figure out why they were not building more. you saved my fucking life if had this mod in for so long i just shrugged it off when starting to backtrack i saw your post and the post under it. you fixed my issue. thank you. so much!

Modify this in the mods code and it should fix the issues everyone is experiencing.

Kinda. An issue I ran into often times was having too many points and not enough picks. A 20 point/30 pick version could work too, I've been trying out the Ultra one and seeing how it works out atm. Only concern is the game slowing down from too many species with too many traits if the AI uses all of them. I'm mostly asking so that there's a gradient if it turns out that one set of rules doesn't work so well, another set can be used instead without halving the totals.

Hmm I see, I did misread what you meant there...a lot more picks but not a lot more points.
OK, don't have an ETA yet, but I can do something like that as well.
