Description
I'll borrow Jeff Randall's format here, as I find it easy and to the point (thanks Jeff!). It's been quite awhile since I've uploaded anything, but I have a few new things I've been working on. Please enjoy!

(CV CPU Tier 4, Size Class 10, Unlock Level 25, Alpha 12) RECOMMENDED FOV IS 80 (for cockpit led displays)

Primary roles: Survival, Combat, Mining, Salvage, Warp, Shield, Storage, 1st and 3rd person Cockpits, Large Hangar, Exploration, Repair, etc.

The Vanguard is a late game all-purpose survival/exploration assault frigate. It has everything a player could need and more.

Features

The AF-80 Vanguard comes with 6X320K storage, 2x320K harvest storage, 2X136K ammo storage, and 12 large cargo boxes. It has 6 advanced constructors, 2 small constructors, a sickbay with all equipment, a large hangar, external landing pad, 108 grow plot farm in 2 sections, secure 1st and 3rd person combat bridge, officer's quarters, 2X Wifi, teleporter, detector, o2 and station, T2 repair bay and console, T2 shield, Warp, offline protection, 4X bottom entry ramps, front and rear entry hangar ramps.

Offense and Defense

The Hull is built entirely with combat steel, it has a T2 shield, 6 mounted pulse lasers, 4 mounted rocket launchers, 2 artillery, 4 pulse lasers, 6 plasma, 6 rocket, 4 flak, 6 cannon, and 6 gatling turrets.It has the max allowable offensive turrets arranged efficiently. There are also 4 mining lasers, a drill turret, a multi turret, 1st person and 2X secure 3rd person cockpit in the combat bridge (accessed via combat bridge elevator in engineering).

Features Summary:

1. CPU Tier 4, Size Class 10, Player unlock level 25
2. Combat Steel hull, artillery, 6 Pulse Launchers, 4 rocket launchers, max turrets, 4 mining lasers, utility turrets, T2 shield.
3. 6x320K storage, 2X320K harvest storage, 2X136K ammo storage, 6 adv constructors, 2 small constructors
4. 1st and 3rd person secure cockpit
5. 108 Grow plot farm, offline protection, crew area, hangar, landing pad, 4X entry ramps, front/rear hangar entry ramps
6. o2 and station, 6 fridges, 2 food processors, detector, teleporter, T2 repair bay and console
7. Sensor based lights, door, and ramp, med bay with all equipment
8. Exterior spot lights + detailed control panel controls w/ LED indicators
9. Adjustable thrust control
10. Hibernate and Red Alert functions
11. Ladders!

Change note: Added 4 fuel tanks and arranged current fuel tanks in engineering to be less vulnerable to damage. Also added more armor on the rear under the antennas to add more protection to the warp drive.

Change note 2: Added even more armor to the back, and some cosmetic trim.

Change note 3: A few new quality of life changes were made:

- Made the rear landing pad bigger to accommodate larger SV's thanks to a suggestion by Filokwarq (removed 1 M thruster on top to allow for CPU, but don't worry, this does not affect the speed and agility of the ship in any significant way).

- Increased rear armor as a result of bigger landing pad.

- Switched placement of top-rear flak and plasma turrets to allow for better dps.

- Increased total ammo storage from 2X 96K to 2X 136K.

- Made some minor cosmetic improvements including placing the detector at the top of hangar (in front of repair console).

Thank you so much for your review and kind words!

I've spent a lot of time designing in this game and have gained a relatively good understanding of the balance between looks and practicality. Of course I desire to make everything 'look' as great as I am able, but I also try to keep the gameplay perspective in mind so that the design doesn't get in the way of the core game experience for the player. So based on your experience with the ship, it seems like I accomplished that goal in this case.

Hey Jin, I have been using your ship for a week in space and planet side. I gotta say I love it a lot, she packs a punch, handles for her size and can carry all my HV & SV fleet with room to spare.
What I really like is the overall thought you put into the layout from a players perspective, all paths of travel to the most common locations in the ship are simple and no fuss. A lot of ships tend to be too compartmentalised with twist and turns a thousand doors to go through which probably makes sense for reducing a ship wide oxygen blowout but how often will that happen in single player? :)

Also your labeling of containers and Signal logic setup is first rate, it all makes perfect sense right out of the box! :)

Nice ship Jin ;) I am going to try it out, I hope it is not an FPS killer on my older PC with all those glow texture, if it is and I like the layout I will just have to re texture and paint it if that"s ok.?
