You are the best friend of the owner of the mansion. You drove to him on a letter that you have been gathering dust for half a year, but the car stalled fortunately not near the mansion

A very nice save. with great usage of fog. for example, when there are objects that appear only when you go close. which really gives in the immersion of an empty town. there's also a secret room which is completely unrelated to the save or to its story that is blocked by a box. break that box, and you enter a room. there is glass on one of its sides. my first thought when seeing it was to break it with my crowbar. when it didn't break I looked closer to the other side of the glass and there was a figure peaking besides a wall looking at me. which actually scared me for a bit. because when you enter the room and you see the glass there is a closet blocking the figure. which is a surprise. amazing. 10/10. underrated.
