Basic Usage
Get a Cargo Sling item from the nearest helicopter or the Arsenal.
Go up to a cargo object and use the ACE actions under Rig for Sling Load to prepare the load.
Once the sling is rigged up, you will be holding the Apex Fitting (the part that goes in the cargo hook). If you drop it, you can pick it up again.
Holding the apex fitting, get it near a cargo hook, and use Attach Cargo to hook on.
In the helicopter, crew may use ACE action or CBA keybind to Release Cargo.

Advanced Usage
After the cargo is rigged up to either a cargo sling or a helicopter, use Adjust Rigging to adjust the length of the sling legs, either all together (simply scroll), or singly (look at lift point and scroll).

If you hold the Apex Fitting and try to move further from the cargo than the ropes allow, you will drop the Apex Fitting.

When hooking up a single cargo to multiple cargo hooks, the slings after the first one won't appear connected to the cargo! Don't worry, they will connect to the helicopter once you Attach Cargo.

Enable rigging on almost anything!
_cargo setVariable ["slr_slingload_isRiggingEnabled", true, true];

Script custom sling points on your cargo.
_cargo setVariable ["slr_slingload_liftPoints", [[x1,y1,z1], [x2,y2,z2]...], true];

Thanks to lost for the Rope End Loop model.

Am I understanding the later mod Workshop update to be able to synchronously apply( a), as your main description refers to it as (virtual )"cargo hook(/s)" to non-default vanilla/intended mod helicopters built-in?

Is there any chance you could look into the armed variant of the Blackfish that seems to not be working (no action can be found to hook the cargo)?

No, you need to be controlling a unit to use this mod. That would be a good addition for Zeus though.

I didn't know such a module existed lol (meaning editor module). If you have the mod Advanced Sling Loading, that is also separate and not required.

Hi there, the higher up people in my arma unit are trying to convince me the vanilla arma slingload module they have in the mission preset is required for this mod to work. Could you either confirm or deny this (the higher ups are very adamant on things sometimes). Cheers

First of all, great mod, really increases the possibilities of sling-loading!

Recently flying various eastern block helis, I noticed that the Global Mob. Mi-2 cargo point is somewhere inside the cabin, leading to the rear rotor blowing up when turning the engine on with cargo rigged and hooked up.
Would you be able to fix that?
I noticed that the CSLA Mi-8 and Mi-24 are already compatible despite not being listed, so that's cool :)

Apologies, I went through your comments after my last and saw your response in 2020 to a similar question. So with it comes another question, what about having two Chinooks lift one tank?
