Simple answer; maths. I calculated the right lengths and the right angles for it to work

Very nice. I want to ask though, how did you manage to do a perfect spherical symmetry? Did you use a mod/script, done some analytical geometry, made a clever use of the building tools, or simply eyeballed it?
