Donkk Coastguard - Offshore Patrol Vessel - Wiegand

Description
I'd like to present the Wiegand Offshore Patrol Vessel of the Donkk Coastguard

______________________________________________________________________________

It`s massively inspired by the Damen Safety Standby Vessel 4711 and on the outside an almost 1:1 recreation (The real ships are named Vos Trapper, Vos Trader and Vos Traveller, built in 2007/2008) but fitted for my Stormworks needs: A helicopter pad and a welldeck was added.

Includes a deck helicopter of the Donkk Coastguard Air Medical Service, one large RHIB and two smaller RHIBs.

______________________________________________________________________________

Features:
  • Detailed helipad (D-Value of 11 m) with landing lights and an advanced landing support system.
  • Relatively large welldeck for vessels (up to 12 m lenght, 5 m height and 6 m width).
  • Basic fire fighting cability (two water monitors in front).
  • 5t deck crane
  • Towing winch at aft.
  • Two anchors.
  • Enough room to carry two standart containers if necessary (9 x 9 x 24 blocks)
  • Large Rescue Zones on both sides.
  • Complete Medbay.
  • Combined navigation and communications system (the subordinate vessels have to run).
  • Automatic navigation lights (anchoring or active).
  • Selfrighting and suprisingly steadfast even in heavier sea than vanilla Stormworks.
  • Simple gear system (Five forward, neutral and two reverse gears).
  • Ecomode with less power and increased range.
  • Stay on course system.
  • Two active stabilisation systems.
  • Dynamic steering support.
  • Ducted bow propellers for further increased manoeuvrability.
  • Arctic ready.

Carried vehicles:
  • DCG E-26 Air Medical Service helicopter
  • 11.75 m DCG RHIB "Carter"
  • 7.25 m DCG RHIB "Harris"
  • 7.25 m DCG RHIB "Petrie"

Technical data:
  • LOA 51.50 m.
  • LWL 50.25 m.
  • Beam 11.25 m.
  • Height 19.00 m.
  • Draft 4.00 m.
  • Lightweight of about 95 t.
  • Displacement of about 260 t.
  • Max. speed of 65 km/h or 35 knots.
  • Range of up to 360 km.

Simple Startup:
  • Enter the bridge.
  • Turn on the ignition next to the helm.

There is a hard limit of 1.5 km distance a subgrid can move from the maingrid before it despawns - which is very annoying. To use the RHIBs and the deck helicopter at an increased distance you have to spawn them seperately and ad them manually to the ship so they count as individual maingrids, here are the links:

The ship was tested and some of the pictures were made while using the awesome "The Storm" savegame.

Update 09.06.20:
  • Optimimized PID setpoint control to prevent PID overload in 5th gear leading to engine blow up after changing into a lower gear. Thanks to Gristle for the feedback on this problem.
  • Added the possibility to turn off the engines.
  • Added an ecomode with less power but increased range (from 160 to 360 km max. distance!) I'd like to thank Reddit User HTDutchy_NL for the feedback on this.
  • Improved several minor details.

Update 10.06.20:
  • Fixed the vessel name on the map of the Petrie (Thanks Gristle!)
  • Redesigned back and added an backup battery for emergency motor start.
  • Fixed wrong monitor recieving the video signal on helm board.
  • Optimized crane fold-in function.
  • Fixed some minor details.
  • Improved the two small RHIBs
  • Optimized aft waterline to improve welldeck RHIB docking/undocking

Update 11.06.20:
  • Fixed minor details.
  • Added an altitude hold system to the E-26 deck helicopter to improve single player handling and for basic convenience.
  • Added an stay on course system (First step while working on a navigation system).
  • Uploaded the RHIBs and the helicopter seperately.

Update 13.06.20:
  • Fixed a maior error in engine layout.
  • This greatly increases overall performance.
  • Improved the engine cooling, just to be sure (I could not reproduce any engine blowup, but apparently it happend to some subscribers (thanks to wolf_girl:) for noticing me). Please comment if any problem still occurs
  • I may have encountered a glitch - the 4th gear (non-eco) does not seem to use any fuel while still producing a lot of power. Does anyone else can confirm this?

All parts of the ship and all microprocessors were done by myself. Please use them as you like.

I hope you enjoy this build, have fun!

@Darkening Demise: Do you mean handheld equipment? This vessel is a rather old build. I didn't update it after the introduction of most of the handheld stuff, sorry.

@Archangel777: Thank you, I know I could just take one from the workshop, but I prefer the create all parts myself.
