Ex Libris [Scripted + Counting Player Boards]

Description
Ex Libris - Scripted
This is a completely redone and improved mod for Ex Libris. This version contains new and improved graphics for all components. Nearly all elements of the game are scripted to provide several quality of life features and make this easier to play on TTS. Inspiration, many ideas, and several assets came from Eldin and Red Inferno, creators of the original mod that first allowed me to play Ex Libris on TTS.

I borrowed the custom Library Assistant models (made by cryptosha) from this mod. I also used that idea (originally by Red Inferno) for the player board counters but completely redid all scripting so it no longer counts face down cards and detects illegal card placement (i.e., placing face-up cards on top of each other).

Floor asset from Chry's GRID table.

Scripted features include:
  • Automated game setup routine that adjusts for the number of players
  • Automated Library selection process
  • Auto dealing of Special Assistants to match chosen Libraries
  • A button to deal new locations each round (which are automatically ordered by location number)
  • Buttons on each Location to deal the appropriate number of cards (simply click on the "Deal #" text in the top right)
  • Official Library License Application Forms (score sheets) with editable entry fields
  • Automated Category counters for each player bookshelf (ignores face-down cards)
  • Deal X cards button to assist with drawing cards to your hand
  • Deal Locations button to deal Locations for the next round of play.
  • Detection of illegal book card placement on player boards
  • Rewind and Fast Forward buttons work
  • And more!

Non-scripted features include:
  • Snap points attached to each Location
  • Player Bookshelf play areas with snap points
  • All components are named
  • Elaborated descriptions on every Location and Library containing answers to FAQs
  • Rule book positioned in game

I hope you enjoy. This is my first TTS scripted mod and I learned Lua just to make this. There are probably some bugs, please let me know if you find any and I will attempt to fix them.
