Description
This mod add a research tech and a new turret.

The research tech rocket turret require vanilla tech fabrication and cost 4000 resarch time.

The rocket turret shot vanilla standard rocket every 4s

Range is little lower than vanilla slug turret.

Cost 370 steel, 50 plasteel, 9 components and require 150W energy.

Have to be reloaded after 9 shots. Cost 200 Steel.

usaf ace, it's not a lot of cost, crafting 10 HE mortar shells costs 150 steel AND 150 chemfuel, so it's actually quite affordable, especially if you use a mod like quarry or just deepdrill a lot.

thats a lot of steel for 9 shots. Is it firing one rocket, or multiple?

it makes sense what Elise said, but i made some serious testing, and the turret feels well balanced for me now, 4 of them will not stop a 1000 points raid alone, you want other defences too, for supporting the rocket turrets.

Reloading with shells? Please... This should make the turret more compatible in style with vanilla-defense mod and has a lot of common sense - the rocket turret do not have any barrels to replace.
"much less cooldown" mean about 2.6 - 3.6s with one shot per time it is not OP (although it depends on the accuracy).
