D6: Dungeons, Dudes, Dames, Danger, Dice and Dragons! (by Certifiable Studios)

Description
D6: Dungeons, Dudes, Dames, Danger, Dice and Dragons!
Play the game where you play the role of a player playing a role-playing game!

All assets and images belong to Certifiable Studios.

If you enjoy the mod and the game, please leave a thumbs up and consider adding it to your favorites. Also consider rating it (hopefully good) on BGG[boardgamegeek.com].
And if you want to go a step further, consider supporting the actual designers of the game and order[d6.backerkit.com] the physical game to enjoy it even more with your friends at the real table. A lot of work and heart went into the creation of both game and this mod, so any of that would be much appreciated. :)

What is it?
In D6, you're playing the role of players playing a role-playing game. That boat you needed? It's already in the harbor. That pit? It's already been dug. Every adventure will be different, but your objectives will remain the same:

Collect the bounties. Kill the monsters. Gain the glory.

Sometimes...player vs. player.
Other times...players vs. players.
And don't forget...solo and co-op.
But always...player vs. monsters.

(1-4 Players, 90+ Minutes)

Objective of the Game
In D6, the most glorious hero will prevail.

Traverse the hostile lands hunting for any outstanding bounties. Each bounty collected gains you more glory.

During your travels you will gather supplies, hunt and fight monsters, collect gold, and purchase weapons and buffs.

Use any means necessary to win a battle. There are many different weapons that will aid you during combat. You may also use any potions, skills, or buff cards to assist you.

When all else fails, transform into your chib form as you retreat to safety.

In the end all that matters is GLORY!

"But wait!"
You may be asking yourself. "What's a game of dungeons, dudes, dames, danger, dice, and dragons without a DM?"
Oh, we've got a DM for you, friends. Chock-full of 100 DM interventions (each consisting of both story and gameplay elements), oodles of artwork, and bonus content, this book is almost as sexy as you are. Almost.

Rulebook
The rules and DM Events are to be found within the mod, but the actual D6 book holds lots more content... You can find the full book here: Full Book[drive.google.com]

I play a lot of Tabletop Sim. And i gotta say, i'm really impressed with how nice all of the scripting. Great work. I've been sitting on a kickstarted box of this IRL for quite some time now. Now maybe i can get my friends to play.

@Replect Information on potential slight bug. When playing in hotseat mode, after executing game start picking any item up and moving results in a drag and gather box being produced. Issue carries over to other mods until TTS is restarted. Unable to test online multiplayer mode but I reproduced the effect multiple times in hotseat. Did not occur in single player doing solo mode. Does not occur in other mods so it's not my TTS. Did unsubscribe/resubscribe to force a reload and it still happens.

Otherwise looks to be a top notch mod. Nice work on it.

Thanks!

@Caprica55 I've added a field showing the current round of the game which hopefully helps in regards to the pointer issue, beside a few other mainly visual adjustments.

One small item I noticed. It is a bit difficult to distinguish the pointer on the round tracker since it is a darker color against a dark background. Could the pointer be changed to a lighter color? This is not an issue if a person zooms in closer but harder to distinguish at a distance. I think I am buying this game today :)

Thx for your kindly response, I'm more than pleased. Languages optional setup? It couldn't be better.

Hi @ZzNoah, thanks for the kind words.
In regards to a Chinese localisation, I'd say that Certifiable Studios wouldn't mind if done properly, but rather included within this existing mod. Like with Who Goes There?, where you get to select out of 3 languages when starting the mod.

If you want to, you could work on the localized files and make them available to me to add to the mod and I'll add them together with a quick language selection before the setup process. How does that sound to you? Of course I wouldn't take the credit for the translation, that would go to you... like, I'm not even trying to make one believe I could speak/read/write Chinese to put that together... :D

Dear @Replect: I am a gamer from china and enjoy playing the D6 game very much. I also especially love your smart scripted TTS mod so much that I am anxious for sharing it with some of my friends and other Chinese players. I was wondering if you would give me the permission that allowed me to modify your files for Chinese Localisation? (I will credit you as the original mod creator and add the link of this page as description.)

Ive put the canon name and attached the canon class to each of the characters from the book if you'd like the deck.

Thanks, loving this mod, especially for homebrewing some things with my mates, Would like something to fit with the background, maybe the dragons/kraken faded in there like the Thing on your WGT table!
