MW2 SPAS-12 Scoped (for AWP)

Franchi SPAS-12 with an absolutely massive scope from CoD: Modern Warfare 2. Probably the shotgun with the most memorable looks, originating from Italy. It can be switched from semi-auto to pump-action to cycle low-pressure rounds such as incendiaries or less-lethal rubber slugs. It comes with either a folding, a solid, or no stock, with the solid-stocked models typically having shorter 6-shell capacity, and variants with a shorter barrel also exist. In 2000, Franchi ceased its production in favor of the magazine-fed SPAS-15.


So I heard you don't like "scopes" that you cannot use in this game? Well, here's an actual scope you can actually use on a shotgun! And since we're going for the ridiculous anyway, a heartbeat sensor that is not available for the shotguns in MW2 multiplayer (but is present on the model) has been added as well. The SPAS-12 has a notably long range for a MW2 shotgun (longer than the knife lunge, that is), although not as memetic as pre-patch Winchesters. Its reload animation always shows four shells being loaded. The camo addons work for this one as well.

The gun has 8+56 ammo in total (like a pump shotgun) and the stats have been copied from the Combat Shotgun (y'know, the SPAS-12). One of the nine pellets will always hit the center of your crosshairs, so you can actually snipe your targets. I haven't changed it from Tier 2 Sniper Rifle to T1 Shotgun, however, as this always has a problem or two.

This addon replaces SCRIPTS (changes the in-game weapon stats)! The custom script only works on a server (your own or your friend's host) which has this script enabled. Disable this mod (and preferably restart the game) if you want to join online servers that enforce consistency (this may be irrelevant due to the nature of CS:S weapons in general).
