Quad Scissor Doors

Description
Demonstrating yet another set of irising doors.
The quad scissor doors!

Double layer of doors to provide zero penetration to EVA intruders through gaps when closed.
Doorway for personal, or manned security staff.
Has enough space around doors to provide conveyor supplied armaments.
Slightly different frames on either side to show variations on door frame.

Updated:
Removed some of the excess armor around the sides, to show how much (or little) space it uses.
New HD Video.

Updated with new the new Groups controls, and all the latest cubes!

To use:
Select the Grouped "Doors" control, and click reverse.
Keep the rotors to about 0.60 rpm for optimal speed.

As far as my understanding of an Iris Diaphragm, it is discribing (the fact that the opening is adjustable) the action not the number of blades (and therfore how close to round aproximation) . I personally feel though that those door are not an Iris door since the slabs do not overlap resulting in gaps outside the center aprature. Angels I feel that your discription fits it very well.

An Iris is defined to be "circular". These doors are square, and the opening is square.
The surfaces come together like scissors and closed neatly, so the term made more sense.

Maybe the term "Dilating Door" would be more accurate?
