Description
Platoon Leader: High Command Mod

This Mod, was originally a private mod I made for myself but I have now decided to share it. I always loved the Idea of High Command, but playing it always felt lackluster.
As soon as Combat started the Ai Groups became unresponsive, being stuck in Combat Mode and often engaging enemies at will running all over the map. As Commander you never really knew what your units were doing and apart from giving move commands, the Commander couldn't really do much.
This Mod tries to fix these issues and add meaningful tools for the Commander.

Features:
  • Added Map Icons, showing Group Information
  • Added Tasks for Groups
  • AI changes increasing Group cohesion and responsiveness
  • Improved SITREP showing more Information like ammunition amount.
  • High Command Groups Communicating and sharing target Information
  • Remote Camera View for Group Leaders
  • Group reorganisation like adding and removing Groups from your Command.
  • Vehicle Speed Options
  • Units Resupply from ammo bearers (Vanilla factions only)
  • AT Soldiers Resupply from AT Assistants
  • Medical System (Allies can get incapacitated and revived)
  • Set up a casualty collection point (CCP) to treat wounded allies
  • Virtual Support System
  • Vehicle Recovery System

Tasks:

Tasks are what I like to call orders other then MOVE you can give to your Groups.

Available Tasks:
  • Advance (Moving in AWARE Combat Mode)
  • Assault Position (Advancing on a SAD WP in Combat Pace)
  • Defend Position (AI takes cover and wont move from position)
  • Bounding Overwatch
  • Taking Cover in Place
  • Forming 360° Security
  • Fallback (Group stops fighting completely and moves to WP)
  • Resupply
  • Heal
  • Clear Building
  • Garrison Building
  • GetIn/GetOut Transport Vehicle
  • Move as Convoy
  • Following Player

INFO:

To Access the HC Menus you might need to assign Keys in the Control Menu.

Controls --> SHOW: Command: --> "Open Menu (Move)", etc.

(I assigned the Menus like [1,7,3,5,9,8,2,6,4,0] These are the Most ergonomic settings for me.)

You can then access them when HC Mode is active (Default: CTRL and SPACE)
In the Root Menu you can press CTRL and ALT for additional Options.

I don't recommend using other AI modification mods together with this

every time i tell ai to go and i right click the waypoint i cant only cancel it help?

Is it only my problem or everytime I ask them to crew the vehicle it's always says 'No available transport', eventhough there are still available seat with or without driver

This mod is just great. A real game changer. JellyFish, did a great job. I really hope for an update.

hello, me and my friend are playing with this in my liberation server, we are using high comand converter because with out it we cannot enter high command mode, for me it works perfectly fine, but my friend can controll units for a limited period of time until they stop following directions, sey say and acknolegde the orders out loud and in zeus it shows the way point but they dont follow it, for me as the host it works perfectly fine, that bug only happens to my friend

But i have another issue with this mod, my chooper transport and probably any trasport in scenarions (not controlled by HC) have limited speed, choppers fly very slow. To increase it i have to include group in HC, but that breaks it.
Anyone have a solution how to make speed max by default?

I disabled them bcs of that, but didnt help much. But i guess low fps breaks stuff. Was playing on old laptop, now with 80plus fps everyone listens more.

@Tanjiro23 can I ask if you use any AI Enhancement mods (like LAMBS) for example? IF yes, try without it or try to disable the mod for the specific units/groups!!

Infrantry i can get to do some things, but tanks are useless, they move while out of combat, once they senter combat. They dont do nothing, ignore all comands, and not even fire a machine gun, let alone to reload a shell and fire.

@Bendy, you are right (just checked it). You need at least a " High Command - Commander " module for the whole system to work. But, I believe that a specific mod that modifies the High Command System (actually improves it), the system is always on! So, if you have the mode loaded, then all script commands and functions will work properly!
