Kriger KLX158 Vortex (v1.0 update)

Description
Introduction:

Kriger's latest helicopter the KLX158 Vortex is a twin-engined military SAR aircraft.

It is also equipped with KLX-SMART technology which makes it extremely simple to operate.

The KLX158 Vortex is inspired by the real CH-148 Cyclone helicopter of the Canadian Air Force in support of naval ops, it's a maritime helicopter with some touches of the NH90. I might do an other one which would be more inspired by the NH90.

Information:

  • Automatic engine management
  • Automatic landing gear
  • Cameras equipped with IR
  • Medical bed on board
  • Winch to lift or lower personel
  • Undercarriage winch to transport heavy equipment
  • Ramp at the back
  • Full glass cockpit
  • APG-3B Radar

Startup:

  • To prevent the lifting winch connector from dangling around flip the switch "Connector" right next to the button "STOW WINCH CONNECTOR"
  • Top panel: Lights Master and use the screen to turn on lights you need
  • Top panel: Avionics, Fuel Injection, Gyro Stabilizer, EG START
  • Center console: Power then wait for radar to boot then XMIT
  • Landing gear will automatically retract when it detects the ground to be at more than 30meters below the helicopter
  • That's it, you're ready

Notes:

Artificial horizon altimeter is in feet while cockpit altimeter is in meters
Speed is in knots

If combined with an Alt hold that would be great. Still having that weird roll issue even when setting the map to have no wind at all.

I think you meant authentic Dr. Death? In any case there's no easy way for this helicopter however I might build a second one that has a more authentic cockpit

Is there a way to make the landing gear and engine management manual for the sake of autistic complexity? Also for some reason the heli rolls to the right during flight.
