Container storage stacks - Large pack 4

Description

I wouldn't be right not to add bsquiklehausen's brands to these new stacks, so there they are! Besides the 7 brands you're used to from pack 4 are 4 new containers of his, now featured as singles in pack 6. Which ofc means that pack 6 (like 5) will not have its own stacks.

This pack contains 4 buildings that function as warehouses letting you store any type of goods, and the stacks grow as the building gets more full. They have a fairly small footprint so you can mix them and build small or large areas. For areas too small to fill in with these, I recommend the matching props in this collection.

And yes, it makes no sense to have these store goods. But it makes them useful more than just decorative and it lets me have fun with the submeshes that change the look of the building.

Texture sharing
I highly recommend you use the Loading Screen Mod and make sure texture, material and mesh sharing is enabled to minimize the RAM usage of these buildings. The main models share textures with my other container stacks and the different steps within each building share LOD textures as well. All of this is possible thanks to thale5 and the Loading Screen Mod.

A special thank you
To my patron Jim :D

@bram.warrick: There's probably already something on the workshop that will work. I have this one: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=647121905

Beardmonkey also has a bunch of great assets that might fit what you're looking for. Otherwise try searching for "shed" and check props, or just go through the growable industry section of the workshop.

I hate to ask, but I want to ask a favor.

Whether in a container yard, or a large DC (or complex), it's common to have a guard shack. This is largely missing from steam and your assets are some of the best out there.

Would you be able to create a couple, one suited to your modular warehouses and one suited to the container stacks? Between that, and the building spawn points mod, I think I can create something more realistic.

I love having these around cargo train stations and harbors. Really makes the places come alive.

Where do I find the containers in the game? I do not see them anywhere...

@Avanya

Maybe 6x8
Avanya  [author] 28 Apr, 2020 @ 5:06am
But how big? What would be the ideal size you would like to see? Either in tiles or meters or how many containers long/wide.
Jie 28 Apr, 2020 @ 2:56am
@Avanya

Because big ones is easy to place for a big harbor. And less traffic if I'm right.

I don't have any plans to atm, but maybe some day. How big though?

@Avanya

Can you make a big size one?
