PSZ: Balanced Firepower (Prototype)

Description
Balanced Firepower Prototype
This addon balances firepower of selected projectile types according to available RL data and/or guesswork.
A set of rules is established for sake of maintaining consistency.
Note this is currently an early prototype - proof of concept.
We are still collecting sources, making decisions on which type of RL bullet to follow etc.
Some data such as penetration performance of bullets comes directly from game itself, in such case we only change the damage dealt significantly.

Action Plan:
  • Phase 1 - redesign of ammunition firepower, basing on existing infantry health and armor configuration.
  • Phase 2 - redesign vehicle damage models to make armor usage more important, adding to selection of right type of ammo.

Rules:
  • Kinetic damage (hit) consists of effective projectile frontal diameter (mm) multiplied with its penetration ability (15 mm RHA) powered to 0.76
  • IndirectHit is added to kinetic damage
  • Explosive attribute represents indirect / total damage ratio, for explosive rounds it's at least 0.7
  • IndirectHit stands for 100 * charge weight ^ (1/3). 1 kg TNT = 100
  • IndirectHitRange is set to deliver 14 damage at specified range, this means killing armored infantryman
  • Range to kill armored infantryman is set to fragmentation coefficient * charge weight ^ (1/3)
  • Fragmentation coefficients: 4.9 for HE, 9.1 for HEF
  • Camera shake rebalanced slightly to account for firepower changes

Interesting... Will you make this mod compatible with Universal Ammo System and Caliber Compatibility? Also, I just read GM mod has real world 7.62 ballistics so will you consider to model around that as a reference?

Please note this prototype is just early proof of concept.
It is not guaranteed to be perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
