Vanilla Steps Final

Description
Vanilla Steps
FINAL VERSION
After several tries, I present the final version of my assets

-------------------------------------------------------------

Set of steps of different materials.

Although this set constitutes an independent article, actually I did it because I plan to use some of its elements later in other articles

- Vanilla Grass Step 3x10m
- Vanilla Pavement Step 3x3m
- Vanilla Pavement Step 3x6m
- Vanilla Gravel Step 3x6
- Concrete Step
- Stone Step
- Smooth Stone Slab
- Vanilla Grass Surface ±2x10m
- Vanilla Grass Network 10m Wide

To access the vanilla textures you must activate the Ploppable Asphalt + MOD

Rebuilt: 04/27/2020

Initially, to take advantage of LSM, I built the steps with just two texture set maps. But it seems that LSM does not get along very well with Ronyx69 Vanilla textures scripts, and on some computers, Vanilla textures intermingle giving very dire results. For this reason I've had to use a 256x128 texture for each Vanilla step plus a 256x256 for the other elements. But don't worry, I've gone from a 512x512 = 262144 texture to a 256x128 = 32768 x 3 = 98304 + (256x256=65536) = 163840 total. Memory is saved. I have also used to improve the colors and textures of some elements. The ploppable surface, meanwhile, use a 64x64 = 4096 Bits texture.

I apologize for this inconvenience.

At last I found the problem between LSM and the Ronyx69 script that did not allow me to create the Grass Vstep to my liking, so it was the only one that I could not improve. Now it is already improved. If I had known, I would have waited until today to share the REBUILT version.

- I have changed the word "VStep" to "Vstep" thus avoiding the name changing problem, since the game changed the word "VStep" to "V Step".
- I've managed to use the Ronyx69 script to get the Grass Vstep I wanted.

Last Versión

I have shortened the concrete and stone steps a bit to better fit the pedestrian paved path. I have taken 5 cm off each side.

Commentary

At first I was only going to need the Vanilla Grass Step to build a particular quay, but then, thinking about future projects, I decided to make better use of the Ronyx69 scripts and built Vanilla Pavements and Vanilla Gravel texture steps. Later I also incorporated the stone and cement steps to make this MOD more useful. Later, thinking in the future, I added the stone slab, the Vanilla Grass Surface and the Grass Network to complete the set.

I always say that if you are not going to need all the elements of a workshop Asset, look it up in the 255710 Steam directory and delete the ones you are not going to use. In the near future, I will only need the Vanilla Grass Step, the Strone Slab and the Ploppable Grass Surface. Later, I may use one of the others.

How to use

The Vanilla textured steps are designed to be superimposed on the different pedestrian pathes to decorate small slopes of no more than 10% drop (±5º).

The other ones, place them with 'Prop Line Tool', use any drop, slope or clif to create the stairs and then move it to the right place. Then, use any invisible pedestrian path (with elevated section) to get working stairs.

Find it!

You can find all steps by typing 'VStep'.
For the slab type 'RTW Vstep'
For the Vanilla Grass tile type 'Plopp Grass'
For the Grass network type 'Grass' and filter the list by 'network'

Highly recommended MOD,s:

- Find It!
- Prop Precision
- Move It!
- Prop Snapping
- Prop Line Tool

Hi, I'm trying to make a set of stairs using the Ronyx69 scripts, and I was wondering why you had to use Ploppable Asphalt.

Dude, what is going on. How is your name not absolutely everywhere people look for detailing stuff?
How many times have I uttered the words "I just can't believe nobody has made this" and it turns out someone did make it, they made it absolutely gracefully - as versatile as you could have them, as beautiful(ly ugly) as you'd want them and even light on the RAM.
I love you, dude. You win at C:S. You win the whole thing.

Ok, thank you

Well, I don't know. If other elements with this same type of textures disappear, it will be some incompatibility with some MOD. If not, try unsubscribing and re-subscribing again.

Yes, I have that mod

Have you got the Ploppable Asphalt + MOD?

Hello there :),
would you be kind enough and list the retaining wall that is used in the pictures? Thank you!
