Probably the easiest to start off with, which introduces how to draw 3d shapes then puts them in an environment. Still, this is only isometric pixel art
iv) Learning pixel art ($1)
Not sure about it since I still haven't bought it, but looking at the price it seems worth it.
v) Pixel Logic ($9)
Seems like a really interesting book, still it is under completion.
i) Pixel art for game developers ($40)
Maybe a bit too early as a starting point, since the first thing you do is to draw a person. Admittedly. $40 as a price point is too expensive for me.
ii)Design Arcade Computer Game Graphics (Free)
Around half of it is about gamedev and the other half on pixel art.
