This is the ❝​ℝ𝕚𝕤𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕒𝕟 𝔼𝕞𝕡𝕚𝕣𝕖❝, a complete conversion of the eighth game in the Total War series. It focuses not only on providing a deeper immersion in the campaign but also on delivering the most accurate representation of the wars of antiquity. Both tactical and strategic AI have been completely redesigned to offer a more immersive and challenging experience in Total War: Rome II. However, this is not just a balance mod, as it may seem at first glance. The new interface and loading screens, along with the vibrant visuals and magnificent units, are sure to please the eye.



    Features:
  • Combat Rules (kv_rules): New combat rules that promote tactical depth and strategic planning.
  • Enhanced AI: Rebalanced tactical and strategic AI delivers smarter enemy maneuvers for a more challenging experience.
  • Unit Size Rebalance: Adjusted unit sizes for realistic engagements, with doubled men per unit on higher settings.
  • Huns' Cavalry Buff: Increased cavalry numbers per unit from 80 to 100, raising their threat level on the battlefield.
  • Faction Disparity: Significant differences between large and small factions affect gameplay dynamics.
  • Streamlined Turns: Experience four hourglass turns per year, allowing for a more dynamic campaign flow.
  • Territory Depletion: Both your armies and enemy forces suffer attrition when operating in hostile territories, particularly during winter. This impacts resources and strategic options for all factions involved in the conflict.
  • Recruitment Overhaul: Up to seven military slots for varied army compositions and tactics.
  • Faction-Specific Rare Units: Unique units tied to specific factions add depth to gameplay.
  • Army and Agent Limitations: Controlled numbers for armies and agents, with rebalanced experience points to encourage strategic choices.
  • Rebalanced Movement: Adjusted movement ranges for armies and agents enhance tactical maneuverability.
  • Stronger Garrisons: All factions benefit from fortified garrisons for more realistic defense scenarios.
  • Bloodier Battles: Enhanced battle animations create more visceral and impactful combat.
  • Morale System Overhaul: Elite units exhibit increased resilience, shifting battlefield dynamics.
  • Projectile Damage Adjustments: Fairer engagements with rebalanced range and damage for throwing projectiles.
  • Fatigue System Restored: Balanced fatigue effects contribute to a more authentic experience.
  • Weapon Stats Revamped: Changes to melee weapons, armor, and shields for realistic combat.
    • Piercing Pole Weapons: Bonus damage against cavalry and elephants.
    • Bladed Weapons: Increased effectiveness against infantry.
    • Slashing Weapons: Enhanced armor penetration.
  • Cavalry Charge Damage: Increased impact from cavalry charges adds to the thrill of battle.
  • Starting Funds: Both the Eastern and Western Roman Empires begin with 50,000 in funds, while everything else remains largely unchanged from Vanilla, including Survival Mode.

Sorry for long time response. I added some animation and now they do throw their pillum like in Rome 1 , yet I only tested on roman units since I dont have much time.

Hey man, the infantry doesnt seem to actually throw their spears and such. it says they are but they never do. if youre still working on this mod could you fix that? thanks

🤣 That's the text from around 2013, but since then the mode changed in so many ways, that I really forgot what is what in this mod..and i'm not gonna change the text, cuz I don't really know what to put.. to many tw games, to many mods i did to remember what is in eachone of them
