Description
*****THIS IS THE ARMENIA VERSION OF THIS SUB-MOD. USE THIS VERSION OF THE MOD WHEN PLAYING AS ARMENIA. If you DON'T use this version when playing as ARMENIA you will get a 30% upkeep penalty for all your units, which will make your game difficult. Also, if you DO use this version game to play as A DIFFERENT FACTION THAN ARMENIA, the AI ARMENIA will not get the proper penalty and will be too powerful. Use this version only when playing as ARMENIA.*****

***USE ONLY ONE VERSION OF THIS MOD AT A TIME - PICK THE VERSION CORRESPONDING TO THE FACTION YOU ARE GOING TO PLAY AND ENABLE ONLY THAT VERSION USING THE MOD MANAGER. IF YOU WANT TO START A NEW CAMPAIGN WITH A DIFFERENT FACTION, QUIT ROME 2 AND RESTART, ENABLING THE APPROPRIATE VERSION.***

UPDATED VERSIONS 12/23/2013:

New diplomacy system. Factions should be much more likely to accept and offer peace than they used to be. War are less likely to go on forever until one side is eliminated, and more likely to be resolved without major bloodshed in many cases. This represents the historical reality of war in the ancient period, when most wars were little more than cattle raids between neighboring powers which might last a few months before relations were patched up once again. Wars are slightly more common than they used to be, but also much more likely to be resolved quickly without resulting in the total elimination of one faction or the other.

Please note that one feature of this new system is that some war events produce positive rather than negative diplomatic ratings. For example, taking a city from the enemy or winning a battle against them will briefly IMPROVE your diplomatic rating with them, not hurt it. This is to symbolize factions being brought to the negotiation table by suffering significant losses. These changes are short-lived and will quickly wear off, so they don't result in long-term positive relations.
