Mostly mountain-ish with not a lot of flat spots so relatively hard to play. Contains all ores but they're placed rather randomly. It was built using a real heightmap (flipped and rescaled Lake Żywieckie area in Poland) but the roads and cities are obviously fictional.
Contains easter eggs and some bugs.

Now some historical background:

Brechtia - Brechtowa People's Republic (BRL). A small country with its capital in Hudsonburg (since 1945, previously in Kekowice), located in the Borzych Mountains, separated from the Soviet Union in 1931.

The country, initially thriving, suffered significant damage during World War II, resulting in the industrial industry and 90% of the capital - Kekowice completely destroyed. One mine survived in the mountains in the East, the rest of the mines and factories never were rebuilt. In Kekowice, to this day there is a cathedral and some of the buildings of the Old Town. Most of the settlements and some main roads survived and so did one of the railway lines, unfortunately due to severe destruction of most of its bridges and budget cuts it has never been rebuilt and currently is being stolen gradually by locals.

After the war, Brechtia faced many problems, ranging from unfavorable location and inaccessible mountain chains, to the negligible assistance of neighboring countries in the face of a crisis to the notorious lack of adequate man in power. The last president, Alfred Valkiz, recently began to gradually build Nowe Kekowice - a new city in the place of the former capital. Unfortunately, due to the detection of numerous scams on an unprecedented scale, he disappeared in unexplained circumstances before it was reached by the Party hand of justice. Without funds, the construction stopped and to this day Workers of Nowe Kekowice managed to build part of the roads, the bar (it was built as one of the first buildings and was a favorite meeting place of the former president) and several apartment blocks. The only major investment finalized during the tenure of Mr Valkiz was the construction of a rather unnecessary high-speed road from the ussr border in Perkelin to Stary Pałkiz.

After the high-profile events in Brecht, after many years the Soviet Union became interested in the situation. Due to the reluctance to the Union in the country and the inepocity of the previous government, it was decided to abandon the elections in Brecht and appoint someone suitable from the outside. The union promised to financially and morally support the new president's rule and ensured lifelong, mutually beneficial trade cooperation.
