解説

This mod aims to spice up your Subcon Forest experience a bit by re-implementing some deprecated enemies and mechanics.

This was mostly just me playing around with dynamically spawning stuff into base-game maps, but it can make the forest a bit more challenging to survive if you're into that sort of thing.

Includes:

-Forest Plants: Carnivorous plants that try to bite you. Also come in teleporting yellow!

-Light Plants: Glowing buds that attack by spitting fire.

-Rough Patches: Feline bush critters that hide in the landscape and try to ambush you when you come close.

-Beehives: Bust these open and get a sweet surprise... if you can survive the angry bees.

NEW: Classic spawning modes! Spawn enemies in places that more closely match their original positions before being cut. This mode includes one additional enemy:

-Venus Flytrap: Don't let the shiny lure fool you - this plant isn't nice.

This mod uses fixed versions of the forest and light plants created by Blue Cube.

hey, I've been subscribed to this mod pretty much since I got this game, and I've been wondering how you did this, as I'd like to do something like it myself

Would it be possible to add an option to also place the cut enemies (Forest Plants, Light Plants, Flytraps and Rough Patches) to any of the following?

1. Alpine Skyline and it's Purple Rift.
2. Subcon Forest and/or Alpine Skyline's Death Wish challenge levels.
3. The garden area of Arctic Cruise (Act 1 and maybe Act 2).
4. The light plant in some areas of Nyakuza Metro since they are neon and kind of blend in, although the rough patches as well as the flowers/plant enemies could potentially work around areas that have bushes around them.

5. I don't really think they would fit in Battle of the Birds or Mafia Town levels though, but the very rare squid enemy and the rats who chase you from Nyakuza Metro would potentially work in those areas as extra enemies.
