Description
Most of the fish released by us, are large, strong swimmer, that need a rounded tank. There's nothing wrong with them, however we realized that the game lacks a tank adapted for them; sure there's the Chicago tank, but it's unlocked at level 10! Until that you only have a Belfast and small tunnel tank to content with.

Not ANYMORE ! Our engineers have worked on a new tank : The Horseshoe tank!

This tank works as a natural transition between Belfast and Chicago tanks !

Size Comparison:

Belfast : 90 - 225

Small tunnel : 72 - 240

Horseshoe tank : 228 - 320

Chicago - 330 - 450

As you can see it's balanced, as you will still need a Chicago tank for those eagle rays, and other big creatures.

Other features

- Customizable size
- Rounded corners
- Deep tank
- Sunken tank
- XXL viewing zone
- Panoramic view of your fish

vertically if using animals that swim a lot

I see. Guess we will have to abide by the game limitations. Any tips on how to use this tank? Would it work better as a coral reef tank with only smaller fish maybe? Is it better to strech it vertically or horizontally?

2) Is a game limitation. You can see the same happening to lagoon tanks, however because it does not have rounded corners, animals that keep swimming like sharks are almost never put inside by players. The game can only use boxes when determining where the animal will swim, thus I made the tank into 3 different ones.

3) Large animals need a minimal dimension to swim otherwise it will not move. In the case of animals that never stop swimming the game turn them into beyblades.

1)I will check the file for this one, I don't know if the container coordonates have been change with updates (it's a pretty old mod)

I tested it some more. Problems I encountered; 1) animals are hard to place, it can only be done by clicking on certain parts of the tank, but that's easy towork around. 2) Animals will only swim along one side of the tank, up and down and back, swimming only in two directions instead of four. I tested this with blacktip reef shark, bonnethead shark and peddlefish. 3) something I encountered with cownose ray is that it gets stuck while swimming and will stay stationary. This might be a problem with the ray since it is a modded animal. It didn't happen in other tanks though.

Yes I saw one instance of a fish (John Dory) partly clipping through the tank wall. I unsubscribed and subscribed like you suggested. I will try to test it more extensively when I have the time.

I suggest unsubscribing then subscribing to the mod. Such weird things happened to people in the past with other mods, could be a case of a file being damaged when downloading.

Do the animals swim through the glass as if the tank didn't exist?

I managed to place animals in it, but only if I click on specific points inside of the tank, mainly at the borders. (tried it with the snapper, nurse shark and the John Dory)

I have tested the mod and animals could be placed fine.

1) Can the animal you want to put inside be placed inside tanks? Some modded animals need terrariums or beach tanks

2) Try moving the tank, then placing the animal. Could be a game bug, if so It would be nice to report it to the dev.

I can place plants in this tank, but the game won't let me put in any animals
