But even after many hours trying to figure how to make both work like I would like, I forfeit, it was just a big mess, and the other mod make thing even harder each time I drop/take or swap a weapon or anything.
If you think that it could be interesting enought to be considered for a future update, it would be amazing.
And thanks for all your work, updating the original mod, and sharing the result with us.

From my point of view (the easy position as player and not moder :/), I have 2 possibility in mind who could work well, maybe the best would be both at the same time ?
1- In the mod Settings, give the possibility to choose a specific priority order for some item, regarding the item chosen by default, for Weapons and Lightning stuff. (maybe it can interesting for something else? No idea yet).
2- The possibly to set 2 key, one to put an item in the blacklist, and one to remove with-list it.
Or maybe some rules that we can set in the mod settings ?
I'm asking this because, for example:
- I doesn't want to take my Hambat in hand when I'm using the weapon key when the freshness is low, and make it deal lower damage than something else I have in inventory.
I could drop it, yes, but it's an infinite use weapon who can still be used for more damage than the walking cane x)
Therei s some other case like when I'm playing Wormwood and doesn't want to have the BatBat in hand because I'm already Full Life.
Maybe it would require too much work to make the mod checking our actual Life before choosing BatBat has first choice, or with other condition, I don't know.
But just being able to have a key to blacklist it for the weapons slot, and so the shortcut, of this mod would be really interesting.
And when I need, I just equip the BatBat the old way.
