Quacks of Quedlinburg (Minor Scripts)

Description
This is a minor update to the versions made by Tramble ( https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1726331978 ) and Kharnax ( https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1461135813 ).

Changes:

- Auto-shuffles bags whenever an item is drawn or added. No longer needed to manually shuffle.
- Number of ingredients updated according to rulebook found here: https://cdn.1j1ju.com/medias/ba/73/db-the-quacks-of-quedlinburg-rulebook.pdf
- Items other than ingredients cannot be placed in player bags anymore by accident (unless grouped with ingredients).
- Added ready tokens (credit to tobii).
- Resized the rubies and some other items.
- Added end of round explanation and comments to various items.
- Added some extra markings to make some snappoints more intuitive.

I don't think I will edit this mod any further, as I'm content with how it plays within my groups. Feel free to use this version as you see fit.

How come this board has a "Crow's Skull value 2" on the droplet tracker, where my cardboard version is a "Crow's Skull value 1" icon?

Thank you - the publisher made a sale from use of this mod :)

Great work! I modded in some QOL stuff on request from my friends:
- Renamed the Ready? tokens to Done?
- Made it possible to flip the Exploded?/Done?/Potion tokens with a click (they flip when dropped)
- Clicking your Exploded? token automatically also flips the Done? token and prints a text
in the game chat about what colored pot exploded
- Clicking your potion flips it and prints an appropriate "used/filled their potion" message
- Drawing tokens from the Marketplace prints an appropriate message
- Added a counter for each board to automatically keep track of the Snowberry total

@krs: Great idea! I'll definitely want to add that in.

Hey Max! Can you please make a quality of life addition? With the new attach tool. you can link a token to a bag, so now the tokens can stay above / below the books. It is more intuitive and accessible, the players will not have to move / zoom when buying.

See below the layout I am using:

The auto-shuffling is a detail that puts this mod above the others.

Hey Max! sorry, I wasn't super clear in my comment. It's actually the Mandrake book, not the token that was broken.

Hi Deekers,

I think this may be an issue on your end unfortunately, since the image is loading for me. Could you check if you can view the Mandrake-2 image from a browser instead of TTS? It's hosted at

http://cloud-3.steamusercontent.com/ugc/974352463889612948/A2C5157E52D83C8CF5EB26F5F8D483DDF114E78F/

Tritian had a similar problem (found under "Discussions"), and I posted what I found on the topic there as well. Unfortunately I haven't heard back from him so I can't confirm if this would solve the issue, but those threads all seem to point in the same direction.

Additionally, if you can view the image I linked in your browser, perhaps it would suffice to remove and redownload the mod from the workshop.

Hope this helps.

Hey @Max!
It looks like the image for Mandrake 2 is broken or missing.
Really great work though, I love the auto-shuffling!!

@jarvis: I have never encountered this specific issue before, and I'm unable to find any threads with a similar problem. Have you encountered this with any other games? I've seen people having issues with manipulating components before, which was most likely due to bad connections or low-end computers. But never the way you described, and incidentally also never during Quacks (so far).

@Noodle: Thank you for your comment. I edited the dice and added a makeshift explosion image. You are correct about the starting chips, but I'd rather not change the player bags. I prefer the setup to be as quick and clean as possible, which is why I'd rather have the bags ready for use. In the unlikely case that the spider-1 or pumpkins run out in a 2-3 player game, the host can always duplicate any of the existing chips, or right-click -> search in the unused bags.

Thanks for this. Really nicely done.

Can you change the Bounciness of the dice to 0.75? (in the Physics options). It gives the dice a slightly more satisfying and realistic bump as it lands.

For teaching new players it would be really helpful to have the "Stopped by an Explosion" image from the basic boards somewhere on the table:

I have been thinking about how to solve the issue that there are meant to be 20 Pumpkins and 15 1-chip Spiders in play. I think the way to solve this might be to have the game load with the Spiders and Pumpkins beside the bags / in the cauldron. At the start of the game everyone can drop them in and if players 3 or 4 aren't playing then they can be returned to the marketplace more easily.
