If you subscribe to this asset, it will simply appear with the vanilla buildings in your low-density residential zones.
If you want a bit more control over the look of your city, you can make a district style with your favourite workshop buildings. Main Menu > Content Manager > Assets/Districts. Paint a district and apply the style, and only the specified buildings will spawn.
If you want even more control over what goes where, you'll need several mods. You can use Plop the growables to place low-density residential buildings. The mod Find It gives you a menu to search for those assets in-game. You can use Move It to position your buildings more precisely. These mods also allow you to place props in-game to decorate your city.
