Description
Become one of the 8 factions of Middle Earth ranging from the White Mountains to the depths of Mordor. Good and evil fight in a constant struggle to eliminate the other. Will the forces of man, dwarf, and elf beat the combined forces of the orks and Easterlings?

Players/Civilizations

Player 1: Gondor (Teutons)
Player 2: Mordor (Celts)
Player 3: High Elves (Britons)
Player 4: Rhun (Byzantines)
Player 5: Rohan (Huns)
Player 6: Isengard (Goths)
Player 7: Dwarves (Vikings)
Player 8: Harad (Persians)

Be the civilizations shown. If not, certain triggers may not work properly.

Teams for good vs. evil.
Team one: 1,3,5,7 (Good)
Team two: 2,4,6,8 (Evil)

There is added music at certain points in the game, 8 unique quests; one for each player to attempt, 15 mini quests, detail, special units for each player, many side effects, and the ability to capture The One Ring.

I will be trying to update the game every once in a while, so if you see I have made an update, you may check the change notes section and re subscribe to get the latest version.

Make sure to check the OBJECTIVES section and HINTS section to find the quests and mini quests for your player. You don't have to do them, but they can make the game much more interesting and can give you a great advantage if you do.

Please try and rate this scenario if you can.

Feel free to comment on how I may further develope the game.

Have fun!

Abit late to the game but just discovered this map, it is very entertaining with intricate triggers and overall a good bloody job done! Unfortunately like alot of the comments seem to suggest the map seems to suit a multiplayer scene than a single player. Would you be able to allow me to tweak and fix some of the broken triggers and repost the map here for single player use?

Only one person per civ as it is based on the slot you are in

I found how to fix it: you make a custom scenario without custom races. You save it and load it in the random map thingy, launch the game and exit. Then it should no longer show the races until you play a custom scenario with custom races again.

After uninstalling try clicking "verify integrity of game files", which can be found by right clicking the aoe game in your steam library, clicking properties, and under local files. Hope that works.

How do I get rid of the civ names? I uninstalled the mod but my AI opponents still have the lotr player names in random map games?

The map was made to be multiplayer, you could try and play it singleplayer but it probably wouldn't work too well

Is this multiplayer only?
