Havre de Grace (Harbor of Grace) is a city on Maryland's Eastern Shore located at the point where the Susquehanna River meets the Chesapeake Bay. First incorporated as a town in 1785, it was named after the port city of Le Havre, France (which was originally named Le Havre de Grâce). Historically known for it's crabbing and fishing industries, the modern economy is largely service-based and draws thousands of tourists in warmer months.

The region has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild, cool winters.
