Play as this fearless race. Develop new technologies. Weapons with unique abilities. Equipment usable only by the Hunters. Hunt targets, mark yourself for Honor. Or play as humans and pray that the Yautja do not take interest in your colony.

  • Yautja Race (Male & Female)
Mechanics:
  • Blooding and Marking: the Yautja value physical prowess above all else, the stronger the creature they kill, the higher their social status is.
Apparel:
  • Thermal Webbing
  • Bio Mask (Standard, Light, Elite, Falconer, Ornate Variants)
  • Hunter Armour (Standard, Light, Heavy, Elite, Ornate Variants)
  • Tribal Cloak
Equipment:
  • Gauntlet: This contains the Self Destruct Device, this item also gives the wearer a Wristblade melee attack and can also be upgraded with a Medicomp to treat the wearers wounds in the field, a Shard injector to quickly bring the wearer back to combat readiness, and a cloaking device.
  • Shoulder Cannon: This item gives the wearer an automated ranged attack when active.
Weapons
  • Combistaff: Simple melee weapon that can be thrown to pin enemies in place
  • Bladed Maul: Simple melee weapon
  • Hunting Bow: Stuffable Bow
  • Compound Bow: Stuffable Hi tech Bow
  • Smart Disk: Research allows this to hit multiple targets while wearing a Bio Mask
  • Blaster: Pistol
  • Needler: Assault rifle
  • Speargun: Sniper rifle equivalent
incidents:
  • Man in Black: using the yautja starts, enables Yautji Man in Black replacer.(it will also work for other races, if they have a pawnkind with StrangerinBlack in its name)
  • El Diablo: Yautja raids during Heatwaves are larger than normal.

Xenomorph infestations reported in the Rim!

Mechanics:
  • Stealth: Xenomorphs are adept at remaining unseen in the dark, and will disappear from sight when in low light conditions and out of direct line of sight to any hostile pawn- disabled in 1.5
  • Acidic Blood: Xenomorph Blood is Highly Acidic and will damage everything in the same tile as it for a short period after being dropped by a LIVING xenomorph
  • Xenomorph Impregnations: The full Xenomorph lifecycle has been implemented and functions as it does in the Original Aliens films.
  • Hidden Infections: Can be disabled Via Mod Options, if enabled, there is a small chance any pawn spawned will have a hidden impregnation.

level-this: if you dont kill a facehugger in one hit, it will level up its HP, so they can max out pretty quickly

Cybernet: possibe Fatal incompatability - unconfirmed

Headless Yautja: try removing any Children & Pregnancy mods and testing.
Pink Box around Yautja: this is usually due to them spawning with apparel that they arent allowed to wear, due to there being no textures for the Yautja body types.

Xenomorph AI is still a bit gimpy on certain maps

Stuttering when Xenomorphs are present - Usuallly caused by Xenos being unable to find a viable hive location, usually accompanied by error spam, please contact me for assistance

Combat Extended: Not compatible

pawns/turrets are ignoring xenos and getting killed without a fight. I understand that this is a near dead mod and the creator wants nothing to do with it anymore but could someone please fix it.

Did a little testing. Xenos I spawned using devmode commands were targeted as normal, naturally spawning ones that grew up from a chestburster were not. I imagine the targeting issue is a result of the chestburster stealth mechanic not being disabled as the Xeno grows.

@Cheiko-San im am getting it aswell, all my defences ignore it and my pawn is currently messed up from food poisoning with the warrior running through my base and manualy shooting gets them killed quickly.
