SSC.Northern Albatross (armed)

This is the largest and last of its class in the SSC lineup.

the albatross is huge, can carry large objects , and has massive range.

the main bay has a 3 position winch , use it to help load from the rear, or load smaller items via the hatch on the belly. hatch only opens 5m or more alt
it also has mag locks for holding cargo
lighting for this section is the orange button

you have a fold away water cannon controlled by the co pilot- 3500L capacity refil by landing in water with the cannon door open

swing out door with winch harness - dual controlled (seat and plane)

TO START!!!!

in mp you MUST FOLD ROTORS TO EXIT HANGAR. in sp it seems to let you out as long as the rotors are NOT spinning.

get in pilot seat (left forward)
hit 5 to disengage the wheel brakes
look to your left, the blue throttle on the wall is the wheel motors. taxi out.
turn off wheel motors.
hit ENGINE STARTERS on the comp panel to your left , press for a second or 2
you are now in idle mode.

IDLE MODE
use it for keeping the plan powered when its being used as a base or something. uses very little fuel, and keeps the lights on.

TIME TO FLY
once your idling, just throttle up, its the throttle below the starter panel. go 100% always
the helo mode has an alt hold built in, this autosets when the collective is released, so if youve not pressed collective the helo will rise into the air a little at the first spawning.

you are now a helo. fold the gear ( 6 )

PLANE MODE

hit 1 to toggle plane mode on and off. the alt hold for plane mode is the red button next to the altitude display.

Autopilot is below the screen , and is for plane mode. Yaw based, so it will point helo mode the right way but will not pitch.
