Description:
Hello! This mod will contain all of the origins I create and make available to the public. My hope is to expand upon the system that Paradox Interactive has put into place, adding for a hopefully more unique playing experience. I'm widely inexperienced in modding so I'll try to update this as much as I can. I'm also updating the changelog if you'd like to see what has been added or changed.

What is Currently Available:
Shroud Touched
Start with a Zro deposit on your capital planet
Your ruler starts with the Chosen One trait.
Start with Psionic Theory
Monthly Unity is increased by 10%
MAY require Utopia to work properly.

Planetary Ascendants
Start the game with the Ascension Theory and Planetary Unification technologies unlocked
Governing Ethics Attraction is increased by 25%
Monthly Unity is decreased by 10%
Requires Utopia to work properly.

Codominant Evolution
Start the game with half of your pops being that of another dominant species
Start the game with an additional envoy.

Planetary Conquest
Start the game with 4 additional pops of another, enslaved species
Start the game with 3 extra corvettes
Army Damage and Ship Fire Rate is both increased by 10%
Start the game with a special monument on your capital with the ability to build more
Start the ability to build a special starbase building as well

Hive Amalgamation
Requires Hive Authority
Start the game with a hive world as your capital.
Start the game with a unique Planetary Decision that slowly converts worlds into Hive Worlds
Monthly Food is increased by 10%
Requires Utopia to work properly.

World Shapers
Start with the Terrestrial Sculpting and Climate Theory technologies unlocked.
Start with another ideal, terraformed planet colonized within your borders.
Terraforming Speed is increased by 25%
Terraforming Cost is decreased by 25%
NOTE: Sol variant is available, the colony spawned will NOT have any planet modifiers from the Guili's Planet Modifiers mod if it is installed. This is intentional. Multiplayer support coming soon.

Extermination Coalition
Start as the leader of a Research Cooperative with two additional members.
Members will occupy any Guaranteed Habitable World slots near your home system.
All members are immortal machines, determined to eliminate all organic life in the galaxy.
Start with the Universal Compatability tradition unlocked.
Requires the Synthetic Dawn Story Pack and Federations to work properly.

Secluded Paradise
Start with a Gaia World as your homeworld.
Your moon is also a Gaia World.
Your habitability preference is set to Gaia Preference, making other planet types undesirable.
Your homeworld is separated from the rest of the galaxy, connected only by a Wormhole.
Start with the Wormhole Stabilization technology unlocked.

Natural Geneticists
Your primary species starts with 3 more trait points, but 1 less trait pick.
Start the game with Gene Tailoring unlocked.
Gene modification special project cost: -25%

Compatibility
This mod overwrites the following files:
citizenship_assimilation.txt
pc_infested_sky.dds

There's currently no known compatibility issues with other mods.

Kek's Origins has officially re released! The mods has been moved to a new page in celebration of its return. This mod will remain up for legacy users.

UPDATE: A majority of the code has been fixed and is on track to be updated to 3.10.*. Before I release though, I want to change some things around and add some things. The return of Kek's Origins is nigh!

I have begun work on updating everything to 3.10.*

Please be patient as my spaghetti code could REALLY use some fine tuning and cleaning.

This still works, Don't know what Wancar's problem is though. Codominant Evolution and a couple of others i tested still work, no crashes so far.

hello
after the newest version 3.9.1 i find this mod cannot launch game , since my mod used some part of this mod as well. i have checked all files and find the conflict is caused by the stuff in events files,if you can come back to fix this~

Version 3.9 has been released and I've found out this mod breaks the game launch, even when it's the only mod in my playset. Must be a conflict with some of the latest changes to DLC's/Vanilla.
I don't know if you're still active on Steam. Hopefully you are and have time and interest to take a look.
If not, well, I'll miss my "Codominant Evolution" and "Natural Geneticists" empires.
Thank you for this mod, it's been a blast so far, I hope it will continue to be in the future.

Thanks Kek, My issue isn't Urgent since the rest of your mod stuff works for me but I'll have to try and figure out what the conflict is (Or resort to Irony)

Sounds like a mod conflict, I’ll double check with my code tomorrow but if I remember correctly I’m pretty sure I had to override war goals.

I'm definitely getting some issues with the Special War Goals not working correctly, such as the Mutagenic Assimilators civic not giving the Assimilation war goal on bordering empires.

Will do more testing to see if it is a mod conflict or not,

civics do not work with z expanded traits ( https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1620838511 )

Specifically the green energy league does not work, and other civics that effect districts may not work either.
