Description
This mode extend or options in game every option in the game the slider now has ability to go past move up and down in scale out side of the ranges that paradox setup for it.

When someone creates custom galaxy type or size or adds custom planets there is never a reason to ever overwrite files mod should always use its own name convention because game will automatically know what code needs to be replaced automatically in all paradox games that, there for no mod should ever ever conflict with anther.

this mod only adds new custom galaxy file types and sizes with all new names no over writes.

Did not add any planet files it does have a custom name generation file that adds more names to list for generation, there are no over writes of any type and none of original files or names where reused.

it your game move sliders how you want them to be, if you like to have high or lower game slider option let me know.

Example

More Hyper lanes can be changed form 0 to 6 times more

More habitable planets and less.

More or less AI up to 600 total empires and less than default for each map.

more or less - advance AI

More or less - pre space faring races at start

I had to make changes to the System galaxy shapes center it now takes up 5% of the galaxy instead of 30% that is default for the game, this way all stars fall inside the area instead of some being out side where you could not access them them.

it is possible to crash game if you pick more AI empires and primitives than there are planets for them to spawn on, so keep that in mine.

Scenarios
the scenarios now push from very inty couple 100 or so to 1,500,000 star systems

Warning some configurations can cause crashing due to limited space with in radius of map or due to spacing of empires example now enough star systems for number of minor, advance, fallen, pre FTL, Marauders, if you have them all maxed could be pushing over 1k AI opponents or maybe even more if you pick like 1k stars number planets will not all be able to be used by them if there is more AI being inputed then there is room planets for them to use it crash for example.

it may be possible to add so many stars systems to static radius of map size paradox uses that it could be possible to not be able to spawn in x number of star system above a certain amount and that may cause crash also.

also amount of habitable planets that you want to generate into game will define in way how many empires or players above get a planet example if you move slider for habitable planets to .05 that means 95% less habitable planets for empires and players be generated which means you may not have enough planets for all the AI players and your self for every one get placed to.

Feature or options are set way they are set mostly due to request by users, it does not mean that I use full settings my self.

so what is inside the mod for files.
files are uniquely named so code should just over write and not be competitive to badly with other peoples mods.

Stellaris/mod/ES/setup_scenarios/

amount 25 files all copy of each other just with small changes the change number of stars allowed and radio of the galaxy.
each file also holds the numbers for sliders for adjusting the galaxy setup.

then there is

Stellaris/mod/ES/galaxy/

this file has one which is uses same name as the paradox one but I chose to do this because I did not want to just add a file but rewrite whole paradox file, I thought about seeing if i would change the name of the files but I just have not done that because there has been no reports of issues so far.

it changes vales of the Ring, Elliptical core systems you can pick, reason I have it in there is because to make room for number of AI in the game that my mood allows I needed to adjust the distance factors of how close systems could be to each other and how small center ring is.

unlike other mods that remove the center make star systems spawn in center I chose not to do that, then u need gfx mod to remove that glow and so forth plus I would have to statistic define how many system spawn in center and I did not want to make that static. - > so I just shrunk the size of the core instead so that core is not even noticeable this allows for less conflict over all with other possible mods.

I adjusted things as well as I can take into account at least 10k size star systems

I kind of wish paradox would break the galaxy_shapes.txt file into multiple files like they did with the galaxy scenarios

but they have not and I haven't tested putting a custom galaxy shape in a diff file name sense I am technically over written not adding and I did not want old galaxy shapes with paradox files appearing in game they would caused crashes with the new scenarios or other mods.

-----

the last update I did allowed users to make a new galaxy with a total of 0 hyper lanes meaning no connection between planets, I did this because I noticed there at this time of 04/05/24 there are at least two mods that add in warp drives and allow you and AI to start game with warp drives instead of hyper lanes.

so I did this so people who use my mod and would like to try out or use those mods could create a new game with no hyper lanes and play with just a warp drive style galaxy.

to play game with zero hyper lanes you will need someone else mod that allows warp drives back in the game or that allows every one to start with jump drives.

I will add one mod to the needed ore required list on the right for people to try out that mod is not supported by me so keep that in mine and it would only need to be used if you want to start with zero hyper lanes.

Thank you for this. I am able to play galaxies with 30K to 200K stars without crashing or overheating.

Hi Regnion that other mod far as I can tell it only show the three human races that paradox has by default none of other races show up in it at least not for me, I also checked files on the main game they have no added any new files or change any of file names. so not sure how you are getting more paradox empires than the three human ones in that other mod.

anyways how that mod works is simple it takes the 12 files under prescripted_countries and just copys them as blank files with hidden text in them that apply nothing to game those files as along as there named same should just overwrite the files pardaox has in that same folder under
Steam\steamapps\common\Stellaris\prescripted_countries

New default Paradox empires were added and are not removed by your other mod in 3.12+. Just letting you know!

This mod seems to remove empire borders and overall galaxy view seems barren. Im not sure if this was intentional.

I might do anther update on mod sometime soon, make a scenario called test something, where i can try to change stuff to see what happens when make changes to see how or if option changes work before i make changes to all the scenario setups.

I rechecked all the galaxy setups right now they should all just allow .25 to about 6 for total number of hyper-lanes so I re-uploaded it, - for some reason when we make mods we use special path mod folder path that setup by paradox for example

C:\Users\user\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod\ES\map\setup_scenarios

for some reason any mod that I make as a developer and upload to steam that gets placed in the steam common library end up never working but will work for other people who sub scribe to it so its impossible for me to test the mods that i upload to workshop except before they get uploaded and I can only play my own mods using the ones in the setup scenarios folder not in the steam common folder.

but I re uploaded my version on my system to workshop on steam so should be working as its intended as of 04/15/24.

Sorry, only 0.75x and 0.5x are available in vanilla, not 0.25x

There seems to be an issue with Hyperlanes, the Slider only goes from "1x" to "full". Even in a vanilla game I'm able to play with 0.75x, 0.5x and 0.25x.

I tried it with only this mod installed.

Or perhaps I'm just stupid, anyways it would be really nice if you could look into it ^^

you put it in your playset same as all mods off of workshop which is done inside the launcher
then you just setup a new game same as you always do.
