Redrock 3.1 (Mars)

Description
Current rules: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MWK521fu9geHRVhXHhXBimr8D30qJx5zZ6Yy_kGXyKs/edit?usp=sharing

In 2053, the humans of Earth ventured beyond our home planet to form the first colony on Mars. The first years were full of challenges, but over time, the colony grew and more colonies were established. The initial colony, Exodus Prime, served as a hub for the other colonies. Echo 1 was formed several kilometers away, and other colonies would branch off from there. As Earth sent more colonists, the expansion into this next frontier continued. 42 years after the first landing, the colony “Redrock” was formed, named after the iconic landmark just west of the settlement. Exodus Prime developed into a thriving space port, sending supplies, resources, and business opportunities via the hyper-rail system connecting the colonies. When the “train” arrives, settlers will want to be sure to get there before their fellow settlers, as opportunities are limited. Colonists also travel between the colonies using rover vehicles referred to as “Stagecoaches.” Settlers looking to hire more workers for their homestead can find eager employees arriving in the stagecoach area. Each worker brings new skills, and some demand higher wages than others. Homestead living quarters are limited, so settlers must make room for the new hires beforehand. Building supplies for expanding your “bunkhouse” are found at the hardware store.

As the newest colony, the settlement opportunities in Redrock are plenty. New residents are provided a basic homestead and may construct further developments from there. Shipments of livestock and crops arrive periodically in the supply pods, helping the pioneers expand their homestead. Commerce is key, and various establishments have been formed to encourage civilization. The auction house and trading post provide the means for growth, while the market allows the settlers to sell their surplus goods for profit. With farms and ranches, settlers can grow crops and breed livestock. Dome real estate is limited and efficiency is rewarded. Without rain or underground rivers to tap into, settlers must collect water from the air using moisture vaporators, referred to as “wells.”

In addition to crops and livestock, minerals are also in great demand. Settlers may take on contracts to gather various minerals and earn a hefty profit if they can complete them. “Turquoise,” is a plentiful resource known for it’s blue/greenish glow. The substance is not found on Earth, but years ago scientists at Exodus Prime discovered it’s value as a power source. Similarly, “Obsidian” is the name prospectors have given to the black, malleable substance found beneath the surface. The technical name is OB-1704, but colonists find it easier to call it “Obsidian.” Fairly easy to collect, Obsidian is stronger than steel, but is more flexible and is used for constructing the frames for domes and structures. The transparent surface of the domes is called “Plexidome,” which is created by melting the surface sand at extremely high temperatures. Prospectors also search for veins of gold, which has had functional and aesthetic value since the beginning of time.

With any community, there are those who don’t share the same vision, and would rather take than contribute to the colony. Beyond the more established civilization of Exodus Prime, a gang of bandits roams the colony of Redrock, looking for easy targets. The sheriff alone is unable to keep the peace so it’s up to the settlers to help defend the colony. Settlers brave enough to take on the bandits are rewarded. With pure grit, guns, and a bit of luck, justice will be served and the bandits are sent to jail. Settlers who choose not to take the risk (or lacking intestinal fortitude), may choose to bribe the bandits, sending them away...temporarily.

Speaking of “luck”, settlers collect this micro-currency through various activities. After a long and dusty day of farming, ranching, prospecting, and bounty hunting, it’s nice to relax at Tough Luck Chuck’s, a classy establishment. Settlers can trade in their luck for guns, resources, or even cold, hard cash.

In Redrock, players earn money (points) by farming, ranching, prospecting and bounty hunting. The player with the most money at the end, wins the game.

Thanks for your patience, I think I have the images corrected. Does it look ok now? I also made some slight updates to the main board and player boards.

@RedRook here is the link to TTS Mod Backup

https://www.nexusmods.com/tabletopsimulator/mods/263

It has a feature to scan for missing links and then a Option to re-upload those links to the Steam cloud and it will change them in your mod .json file then all you have to do is update the workshop mod

I would recommend using TTS Mod Backup. It is the way I found the missing files. I believe it can be found on the Nexus. It's a great tool for troubleshooting and backing up mods.

Thanks d34bOlt, I get the same message clicking the links you sent. The images don't exist at those links, but my problem is that I don't know which images from the game are not working. i.e. - is it the goal cards at the top? The event/train cards? etc. Does the board show up? When I load it, they all show up, but there is something with the published version that has different images.

Thanks for the heads-up about the broken links. It looks like imgur changed the way images are hosted since the previous version. Everything works for me locally so I can't tell what is showing up incorrectly. Can you describe which items are not showing up?
