Description
Have you ever had your colonists dig a nice path through the snow, only to leave a giant tree in the middle?

This changes the Clear Snow Area to Clear Ground Area. Colonists will now clear plants, trees, AND snow from the designated area.

I guarantee you will use this area on every map. It's great for making paths between your buildings, keeping the horseshoe pit looking nice, and removing trees from the area around your wind turbines. Also works on snow. And it will ignore the plants in your growing areas, so no worries there either.

This is purely a quality-of-life mod. It does not modify any game mechanics. It shouldn't interfere with any other mods, but if you notice anything, let me know.

That's Okay, it was only a little idea for situations in then you must priorize ground cleaning for Plowin with a simple mouseklick solution :):steamhappy:

@BioDiesel112™ - I would probably do something like that in a different mod. The goal of this mod is to just be a minimal QoL change without any thinking required.

Ist it Possible to add a little function to Disable or Enable the Function with one mouseclick with a icon in the down right selection menu ?

@freemapa, it would definitely enhance the mod if you could. My suggestion would be to exclude Anima trees and grass, Gaurulen trees and moss.

Absolutely something which should be in the vanilla game! Beware using if Anima or Gaurulen Trees are in the area you want to clear, though, as it doesn't distinguish. Losing both was too much even for my otherwise happy-go-lucky colonists :D

@shentino - It's a pretty simple mod. I wrote it to learn how modding worked in RimWorld. You can find the code here [github.com].

I don't like using Visual Studio, so this project is set up as a minimal C# project and I compile it with dotnet in VS Code.

@RedPine Firebreaks are actually one of the best uses for this mod. I also like making a little 2x3 clear space in front of my doors, a clear path between my gardens, and a clear line for throwing those hoopstone rings.

Wait, so I can prevent flammable trees from growing next to my flammable houses without making firebreaks out of roofs and/or floors? Nice!
