QWall - themed quay surface network with modular walls

Description
Why?!
First of all due to dark shadow all over lovely grass surfaces because of the slop underneath.
Second I like the quay behaviour taking care of the gapes or irregularities in between.
And last but not least, placing ploppable asphalt on mass and editing it is a hell of a mess.

A like (thump up) would be very much appreciated 😀

Why different sizes like 4m, 7m and 10m
If you place a road too close to the quay, the ploppaple texture might appear on the road. Therefore you can use 7m oder 4m. It´s also 7 and 10 and not 8 and 12 because of the overlapping I did to have smooth curves and no gaps.

What
It´s a quay without walls and clipping which lets you place your own favourite walls next to it. It uses ronyx´s ploppable asphalt mod to generate themed grass, gravel and pavement on top. As it is a network which uses probs to generate the surface, make sure the slope isnt to steep. The quay has no texture at all so there will be no need for RAM space. It comes also without nodes, because of the no-texture-thing so make sure to use moveit to close the gaps :)

How
  • Place the quay on the desired space
  • Make sure that all nodes have the same hight
  • Use Moveit to move the segments to fill the nodes
  • Place your favourite wall next to the quay - see also the video -

I hope this gets updated to use surface networks instead of ploppabale surfaces. Reason being sometimes the gaps between individual surfaces show up

@FORTE11

I know your comment is like half a year old but if anyone else was wondering the same thing you can use Network Multitool's invert segment feature. I think that is what you need to do that.

Is there a way to manipulate which side the quay will mess the terrain up? I've been trying to figure out all sorts of things and the terrain clipping tool just messes it all up.

I can't find this fence in my assets? What should I do?

I've tried using this multiple times now... but this doesn't work well with slopes. and i refuse to only do completely flat surfaces.

I know this was published over a year ago, but I just stumbled on upon it. This asset falls under the "things you never knew you needed" category. Well done!

I've been using these for ages and never got around to commenting to say thanks. They're an absolute godsend.

Please specify which Theme Mixer is needed specifically? I have it installed, but I do not see the results - textures, herbs do not match both with it and without it

Is there a tutorial on how to use this?
