Description
You can find the previous part here.
You can find the next part here.

Hello and welcome back everyone, to yet another instalment of Reliquiae.
Again, this map contains two short puzzles.
It helps if you have already played the previous parts, but it is not necessary.

This map does not contain anything particularly clever in and of itself.
It just kinda expands on the concepts introduced in earlier instalments.
Should you get stuck in the first room, I would recommend trying Fumbly Bumbly's inspiring map.
For both puzzles it could be helpful to keep the first room of this one in mind.
Fun fact: the overgrown style does not allow for chamberlocks.
Less fun fact: this is really the last dual chamber map in the series. After this I feel like they stand strong by themselves.

Difficulty: 2.5/10.

Of course I won't copystrike you for the music if you record your run :p
In other news: My puzzle game Sokoban: The RPG has been released on steam! Please consider checking it out!

Cool idea, great puzzles, but now i understand, that i hate this qte with build up velocity. I was not able to set the exit portal correctly nor i like the idea to repeat everything for a try. Solving was good, nocliped both final jumps. Thumb down from me. Would recommend to see, would not to play

I forgot about using the funnel to lower you closer to your portal to decrease your momentum and ended up shooting a portal on the angled surface and on the floor to jump into, but then I accidentally fell into the portal on the angled surface and it gave me a ton of upward velocity. I knew this wasn't the solution so I dropped back down and tried what I meant to do and ended up doing an epic strafe into an upside-down portal to give me the velocity I needed to get on the ledge and solved it intentionally from there.

never occurred to me to try grabbing a cube while falling. neat trick.

More specifically, the problem with the angled ceiling panel is that it doesn't always successfully nudge you onto the exit platform of the first room. Plus, it interferes with using portals to keep your height and give you time to get your bearings before moving onto the first room's exit platform .

I definitely enjoyed the music, though!

Oh, and I found the Companion Cube in this one! https://steamproxy.net/id/sillymel/screenshot/2485497501523123823/

Congratulations! You're not trapped if you portal behind the unexploitable grate this time!

I wasn't that big of a fan of this map, so no thumbs up from me this time. I did manage to find a consistent way to do everything, but in my opinion, the puzzle should be in figuring out the sequence, not figuring out which of the slightly different ways of executing things is the most consistent. Of particular annoyance was this angled ceiling panel in the first room, which helps when stepping out of the funnel when looking down, but is a hindrance in other ways of doing the final trick of the room: https://steamproxy.net/id/sillymel/screenshot/2485497501523093853/
I did learn a lot about flinging from funnels in this one, tough, which was nice. If the puzzle itself was slightly more interesting, I probably would have given this a thumbs up despite my execution difficulties on my initial playthrough.

I used quicksaves, but the end was not going easy at all. the cube kept slowing me down each time I grabbed it, like it actually adds to my mass or something. Had to jump off the button to keep enough momentum.

Even in theory, I couldn't think of a way to get the cube at the end. Wasn't expecting it to involve grabbing the cube while falling. But I have to admit, that it wasn't difficult to execute, but I learned a new move!

The first chamber was nice, but the second bit also almost drove me crazy, having to reset the entire puzzle for each attempt was not cool.
