thanks again for the feedback Gravedancer. I just checked the Blueprint all batteries were set to auto. it could be that the building process in survivall is doing something with the batteries or maybe there is a group that is not set up correctly. i will take a look until then i add a caution card to the discription.

The batteries are grouped, however it appears that some of them were set to "Recharge" and some to "auto" when the blueprint was created. Result is that when built, not all the batteries are operational at once if you are just using the Recharge on/off toggle. Ive built the ship multiple times in different survival worlds, and had the same issue each time. I now know to go in and manually check all the batteries to make sure they are all in the same state after completing the build in survival. Its a great design, but you definitely have to watch out for the minor glitches.

Hello Again. The batteries are all in one group it could be that the have fallen out of the group when welded in survival. i need to test it further. There where however a few Thrusters not in the "Thrusteres all" Group as the should be. I corrected it. thank you verymuch for the detailed feedback. It should all be fine now. Let me know if you need anything else.
PS: quiet remarkable how such a simple mistake sliped by me. sorry for that ;)

Thank you for your detailed Feedback Gravedancer. im just about to check the Blueprint to make sure the error gets resolved if i can verify it.

I had the same issue when it was fully loaded with ice... but I think it was battery related and also related to not all thrusters being included in the "Thruster(all)" group. So when I thought the ship was powered down, it actually still had some thrusters running, consuming battery. This was compounded by not all batteries being grouped together, so they werent all charged equally. End result was I was on my way back to base with a full load of ice, and some batteries ran dead, resulting in less power available to thrusters, which resulted in an uncontrolled descent right into the edge of my base roof (landing pad). Before some of the batteries died, it was able to lift out of the hole it was in even fully loaded with ice, so its not a lack of thrust problem (until something cuts off half the thrust)

hello Galon007 thank you for your comment. the ship should be able to lift the full Load. are all Batteries and Thrusters Build ? at what power % is it when full ?

Hi DerMakrat.
Testing some of yours ships and i love them really alot but i have issue with this miner when i load it fully with ice and ship reach 170 tons. Thrusters cant hold that mass and ship start falling down.

Hello qspin2win, thank you for your comment. im very interested what is "standard scale, proven design" ? :)
qspin2win 14 Jun, 2020 @ 7:43pm
My first real ship ever is very similar to your athena 2.1 Still my go to for standard scale, proven design.
