HMSF BB Rodney

Thanks to revolutionary technological developments concerning advanced weaponry, the Royal Sky Fleet is proud to announce the completion of their newest dreadnought; HMSF Rodney! The unique design of a forward main battery with 3 superfiring turrets that can rotate are finally both practical and effective due to the use of the Hawkeye Type 45 Naval Gun. In line with the original design of the storied vessel, the Rodney is able to use her main armaments to their fullest extent even when broadsiding, however the improved upon superfiring nature of both B and C turrets, as well as 2 hull-mounted Hawkeye Battleship Cannons insure that the forward battery is just as well armed!

While she may not be as quick as some of her contemporaries, Rodney more than makes up for this in her flank speed endurance, able to maintain 70 mph for twice as long as the Hood! She is also significantly more maneuverable, being able to avoid troublesome situations that a larger vessel may find itself in, as well as being able to turn in a significantly smaller radius. Rodney is also able to traverse any type of terrain due to her high hover-weight ratio, allowing her to float at 100 feet above the ground!

Defensively, Rodney has a few dozen batteries more than Hood as well as thicker armor. Additionally, her smaller size means less bubbles are needed to protect the hull, meaning less of a power drain as well as allowing for greater repair bubble stacking around vital areas of the hull, such as those around the missiles. Her armor plating and reinforced blocks allow for absorption of any damage that manages to bypass the shielding, and 8 redundant cabs ensure the Rodney never goes down without a fight.

Slightly more expensive than Hood at $5.7M BB, she delivers greater damage in exchange for speed, but is more than worth her value, able to counter any enemy that spawns in campaign should you decide to construct one, and can complete all combat missions without a scratch thanks to her extreme power endurance! Use the versatility of the Rodney to achieve dominance in the name of the Royal Sky Fleet and lead your forces to complete strategic victory!
