Description
Hi all, I present this airport for your approval. It has three
aircraft stops. It also has a specially made elevated road
that sits above the road that the airport plops against.
You will have to subscribe to this elevated road separately
and place it yourself. I hope the screen shots above will
help with this. You will also need Klytes " fine road anarchy"
and Klytes "fine road tool" or equivalent. You may also
want to use my "airport road no props". It's not a
necessity but avoids street lamps poking through the
elevated road. You will also need "airport roads" to place
aircraft taxiways and runways to your own design.

Prop placement like lights and seating is down to the
subscriber, "move it" will help with this.

The elevated road needs to be set at 7 meters height.

Please read the descriptions of the required items.

To encourage cims to use the entrance/exit place bus/tram
stops nearby.

The elevated road pavement will appear with the "ruined"
texture until something is placed underneath then it's fine.
I don't know why this is yet.

Finally thank you to all content creators who have made
this asset possible.

@BierPizzaChips. Wow, thanks for the link. He's done a better job than me. I'll be using those. I will make sure that my remake is not dependant on the DLC.

@Yamashta: Love your Airport because it does NOT require the DLC.
Elevated Airport roads feasible with First Person rides are here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2531109533
Those should do a very nice job with your airport, too.

@BierPizzaChips. I think the problem with the building is it's textured only on one side of each plane. To fix this I would have to include a lot more geometry (making the file bigger). Similar problem with the road. I am thinking of remaking the whole thing to address various problems with it and to take advantage of the new Airport dlc but that will take quite some time. I do appreciate your enthusiasm and comments for the airport though and Mk2 may get started sooner because of them.

@Yamashta: I really like the elevated road in your airport, especially as i have another custom airport connected in my build, which joins that elevated road. Looks great. BUT: Your elevated road is indeed just a road and therefore transparent from below, which is another killer for any First Person view. And have a First Person drive through an airport setup with your great asset, is something for which i am really looking forward. Any chance to change your elevated airport road into an elevated 'bridge' similar to the vanilla double one-direction road, just a wee bit wider and without railings? I can suppress a lot in common roads, but not the railings ... so i really need your elevated road. (Always these demanding people who already get stuff for free :steamhappy: )

Thanks, Yamashta. For being crystal clear: All functionality of this Airport is fine. And i love the second level road. Very performance friendly design and easy to enhance with props. Great work, very much appreciated. (Just that disappearance in close up of centre is annoying)

@BierPizzaChips. I'm not sure, I'll have a look in the morning.

What do i have to do for not having the left and right part disappearing as soon as the centre is out of the screen? The current disappearance of parts on close by disables sadly any use with First Person view.
Otherwise works very well. Would love to keep it, but the disappearance issue is a showstopper.
