Lore:

The F-40 Razorfang Heavy Fighter is the result of multiple generations of fighters and other prototypes, combining the successful features of said crafts into a single space superiority fighter.

The Razorfang's most defining trait is its nose, which houses a forward facing camera behind an LCD screen and windows. Said screen displays radar information, so the pilot will always know where his opponents are even if they aren't in view of the camera.
The nose also differs from traditional PHI fighters by not placing the cockpit there either, instead opting for a more protected enviroment inside the hull.
Appearance-wise, the Razorfang is a slightly larger Sawtooth Heavy Fighter, and can be considered an upgraded version of it.

In terms of capabilities, the Razorfang outclasses all previous spacebound fighters produced by Pravda in offense, defense and mobility.
With ten gatling guns mounted in a circle around the nose, the Razorfang is capable of destructive bursts of fire that will rip through any kind of armour in seconds at the cost of insane ammo consumption.
The nose mounted camera will help with aiming, being placed in such a way that the pilot won't be blinded by his own attacks.
Four rocket launchers placed in two pods on each side of the hull will give the ship a more economic option against large ship defenses, or a bit of a firepower boost in the first seconds of a battle.
A pair of mounting points for two player made missiles also add options against both opposing fighters and capital ships.
Daring pilots can even mount four missiles instead of two, though this has repeatedly went wrong during testing.

In terms of defense, the Razorfang makes use of decoys mounted on pistons in order to direct fire away from the hull.
It also makes use of an experimental combat mode that cuts off all components that require oxygen, like tanks and the cockpit, in order to maximize hydrogen production.

Mobility wise, the Razorfang has at least two large ion thrusters in each direction, with both forwards and backwards movement having access to four each.
Complementing these ions are hydrogen thrusters in each direction, as well as a reasonable amount of gyroscopes.
While not endorsed by Pravda in any way, installing large atmospheric thrusters while in the field will enable the Razorfang to take flight in atmosphere as well, though she will not be as effective as purpose-built vehicles in this enviroment.
