Description
WARNING - PENDING UPDATING FOR NEW AVORION VERSION AND NEW DLC, USE AT OWN RISK ATM.

V3.1 Released!. Welcome To REBIRTH. Larger Asteroids, Larger Stations, More Resources, More Mod Friendly (Compatibility), More Shipyard Ships, Bigger Rewards, More Sectors, More Tech.

-- So 3.1 is here and there are some differences to my past versions, main one is that this mod should now be compatible with just about any other mod out there.


What is Avorion Rebirth? Its a game play improvement mod, or at least aims at improving the galaxy.


- Makes all asteroid types available anywhere, but some are rare.

- Makes all weapon material types available anywhere.

- Makes the galaxy's scaling curve towards the centre a lot steeper.

- Bigger asteroids and resources are more common.

- Overrides the 'gates' sector with my own 'gates' sector, which can generate a number of different scenario's.

- Scales jump gates and other things a bit larger, for bigger ships etc.

- Mining is faster, and mining laser colours are randomised, as well as all weapon ranges are tweaked.

- Shipyards have a lot more random ship design variations to chose from.

- Mining lasers can now mine the top 2 materials instead of 1.

- And a few other changes here and there, that I forgot about when typing this lol.

Somethings' going wrong in 2.3.1 game version:lunar2019crylaughingpig:
When new players died they were sent to sector 0,0 , at first I thought it might be a good idea to play from 0,0, as soon as the second time I died to 0,0, which triggered the boss:lunar2019crylaughingpig::lunar2019crylaughingpig::lunar2019crylaughingpig:

Does this mean tech level 52 happens far earlier, but 52 is still the cap. Or does it get +60 somewhere?

Try my new Unreal mod instead of this one, its made for the new update and dlc.

Hey, I'm wanting to start a new playthrough with this mod, but it hasn't been updated in a while. When you combine that with the posted warning message, that spooks me a little.

So my question is:
Is this mod still in development and/or should we still be expecting an update soon? I'd rather not invest a bunch of time into a save if an incoming mod update is gonna break it.

any way to make cannons, lasers, coaxials etc spawn everywhere even in iron/titanium areas? this would be an awesome feature.

Yeah there is a problem with the extra resources in the mod atm. Automine does not work for them for some strange reason.

im digging this mod thus far, but when i send my ships out to mine for a few hours they don't get an option to pick up all the minerals they are able to given the equipment they have aboard.

Okay, I haven't fully tested the mod so there might be a few things that are not right. Someone else said that about the upgrades too, I'll fix it all sometime and supply an update. Sorry that it isn't quite right. I am hooked on Starbase atm, so I'll get around to fixing this mod sometime. :)
