Description
Intended for users of the Coilguns for WOTC mod who want it to act like a Tier 2.5 re: squad upgrades

This does two things:

1) Lock the plasma weapon techs behind coilguns

2) Have Coilguns properly upgrade to Plasma weapons instead of being treated as "separate" weapons for squad upgrades.

Would it be possible to get the same mod again but for the LW2 Lasers?

will this work with the weapon tier overhaul for wotc from knave of spade? It adds the laser and coilgun tier into the game and is from the same auteur of the required mod. Its annoyingly inconvenient that the coilguns are a separate weapon tier

another question....the template.baseitem has only one value,right? so if I want two same tier weapon upgrades to one weapon,what can I do...?Can't see the Source code,wondering if its value can be a array

It's a custom utility function someone came up with years ago to help make finding tech templates easier. You can find the function code in this mod and include it in your own mod if you want.

HI RealityMachina,I have a question to ask you,can you tell me?

what is this function "FindTechTemplateAllDifficulties(x, y);" effect?...

I want to add two tier weapon,and make the mag and beam tech require my custom tech,is this right?

Update: Now have to completely re-download the game and all my mods after installing this one. Avoid at all costs.

@It's also buggy as hell. As I lost some TLP guns when both Coil and Laser tiers were enabled.(used console commands to get them back)
KnaveOfSpades also hasn't updated his mods either. He seems to have dropped off Steam entirely.

The original mod author made a fully configurable version that largely slipped under the radar: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1275622993 . You need to do a little configuration, but it lets you stick the bonus tiers wherever you want.
