STATUS E30 M3

I've combined a very low center of gravity and nearly perfect balance with a new steering control system (thanks mistercynical) into what I believe is the best handling car I've built so far. Body roll is nearly non-existent and steering is crisp and responsive while maintaining high-speed stability. It drives like a sportscar should.



I've continued to refine my vehicle control systems, and as you would expect, the vehicle is 100% fully automatic. W for forward, S for reverse. Press the opposite direction of whichever direction you're currently going to use the brakes. The clutch stays engaged when off the throttle, keeping your revs up, meaning the engine is always up to speed to deliver maximum power. In short, it just drives like it should.



I was pleased to have the space to include a front-hinged hood, just like the real thing, with a little replica of the M3's engine and airbox. There is also a pretty spacious trunk in the back, and it seats four, just like the real thing.


Thanks again for checking out my creations, and thanks to mistercynical for his feedback and awesome steering system. I'm super pleased with how it turned out, my only gripe has to be the dash. I like making nice cockpits, and unfortunately with the placement of the engine and its components, there was not quite enough room to make a super nice dashboard. Believe me, I tried just about everything short of redesigning the car. Most importantly though, I think this little BMW drives even better than I had hoped, and I hope you will think so too. Enjoy.
